Yep, death is scary. But life is awesome. Enjoy the good and cope with the bad.

Any day above ground is a good day.............
Enjoy what days you have alive, don't worry about death. You can't possibly stop it, but to waste time worrying about death is just that - a waste. When you die, you'll be heading to a better place when you awake anyways. ;)
Sure, life sucks.
Are you saying you'd rather not have life at all?
Hmm, kinda apropriate for my first post back on ptt. Keep in mind that I just came from a week of three chruch services a day:
Life is what you make it. It is all that your mind concives and throws out into the universe. You are what you choose to be, never forget that.
As for death, intead of saying "oh he will go to heaven" or "there is no heaven, so he is screwed." Instead, let us turn to Einstein. He declared that energy is a constant, and human beings are enegy. It is impossible for him to die, he just got his baloon popped, so to speak. Now he is free to go where ever he wishes. He can glide and become one with other energies. It is somwhat of an afterlife zen garden. And even as the body decomposes and goes back to mother earth from whence it came, others can still be reminded of his energy they once shared.
Now, I am not saying jump up and down at BA's accomplishment. I must admit, I cried for a good te minutes when I heard of this. But just remember, life can be anything, and you can think of everything.
PS- As for when you die, I beleive you leave your body, and realize: Dang. That was not good. I beleive you find your own being at that moment. You are comepletely in touch with yourself. This could be what people mean by "my life flashed before my eyes." It probably didn't flash before their eyes, they were just so true to themselves that they can comprehend everything they have ever done in under a second. Again, that is just my two swiss cents.
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

We all know we'll all die someday, which Steve Irwin knew as well, for he knew the risks of being around animals. But the truth is, who cares when you die? It is what you do before you die that is important. Live your life to the extent, do things you have dreamnt to do since you were very young, and have a life that you truly want to remember and reminiscence until the end. If you live an optimistic life, you'll live longer! That's how I've been living for so long!

That's another whippersnapper belted by the feared AncientOne!
^^ & ^^^ why do you believe that?
Well, since I was moving around alot growing up, especially in germany, I didn't go to any churches. I didn't have anyone telling me stories about god or jesus and such. I came to the conclusion that people's souls are "recycled" into new born babies, and people do not recall the transition from their last life. It may not be the actual definition of reincarnation or may not even be real, but I have referred to it as that and I stick with it.
Everyone has a different perspective, how they choose it, whether they can support it, how they support it etc.
44 staggers out of a bar in "Missouri" and runs into Memphis and Stinkfingers. "I'm Jesus Christ."
Memphis says, "No, fofo, you're not." So 44 says it to Stinky. Stinky says, "No, fofo, you're not." 44 says, "Look, I can prove it." He walks back into the bar with Memphis and Stinkfingers.
The bartender takes one look at 44 and exclaims, "Jesus Christ, you're here again?!!"
As far as im concered, life is
I love my randylion
IMO, Were all gonna meet death, eventually.
Just live LIFE to the FULLEST and ENJOY it while it LAST!
@KBC -- Well done. LOL.
Good one KBC! XD
I believe in hell on earth.
Life is a true test to prepare us for the after life.
Tragic things happen to us all. You are not alone.
Well, life's been good to me so far. B)
BK, I suppose I can understand your questioning and distress, but I think you need to step back a bit and take a breath. Do we hate an ice cream cone because it may melt on us and eventually it will be gone? NO! We make the most of the cone and love every minute of it!
Life can be difficult at times and sometimes we wonder why we should bother. Well, because there's a lot to get out of it for one. Like a mediocre man once said, "Always look on the bright side of life". Sure bad things happen to good people, but that's no reason to check out of all of it. A lot of good things happen too and hopefully when you get to the end, the things that were good and most important to you will be the things that come to mind rather than regrets and fear.
Obviously, THE END does inspire fear and dread in some, but to others it offers hope and release. Death is a part of live and just the natural order of things. What's most important is to enjoy the time we have here on earth and make the best of it. Often, that depends on the choices we make, so make the right ones and you'll feel a lot better for it.
Now go have some ice cream!
Why should the people care for the homeless person? Honestly what has he offered to others? Most often they are the bottom of the society... And their names won't stay on the history books. Either won't stay large majority of other persons. Few names shall be written down on the history books, the names of the ones who had a huge impact on the people around them. That is why Steve is remembered now. He had an impact on peoples lifes. Many also saw him somehow and 'knew' him. He had offered many people something. He had shared the exciting life of wild animals. Why wouldn't they be sad seeing him going? Starving kids is the same... Not many really knew them... And that what they get back. The key to a good life is to make lots of friends and share good moments with them... And they shall remember you.
I don't know what happens when you die, but I believe it is Game Over. You're not getting back... There is no reset button. So go for what you wish to do in your life now. When you accomplish these things you desired to do. You won't feel bad for the missing reset button. I may as well be wrong and there is a reset button and then I shall be gladly surprised.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
What I mean by me hating life, is that, why does death have to happen when we least expect it...and always to our dear beloved loved ones :(
Well I alway was interzed in reican nation if ur bad person u turned into and animal and If ur good ull be come a person
Death is a natural part of life.
This is all I see on PTT lately, really depressing topics. =(

I really hate life...death is one reason, I heard about baddass, and for a minute I thought " I feel sorry for his family..."
And then theres Steve Irwin-the crocidile hunter, stung, and killed :[ Have you ever wondered what happens right befor you die?
Life flashes befor your eyes
thats probly what happens, I mean, think about it, when you die, you realize, " Man, this sucks...I'm dead! :( " Just think about all those times you had with your family :( From when you learned to talk and walk, to when you learned what a micro chip is. Can you just picture it? It would be really sad :[
And another thing I have pondered about for years "What happens when my dad dies? When its my choice to pull the plug and put him out of missouri, or keep him alive cuz you cant let go?" I just thought, he was the one who taught me to ride a bike. The one who read green eggs and ham to me, the one who cheered me up when I was down. I cant let him go. Life is'nt really such a joy, with death, starvation, and depression. I just cant believe it... If you think about it, once your dead, your dead...theres no going back...you just lay there...dead, as the Croc Hunter is, and Badass. And the worst part of it is...no one really cares! After someone passes away, sure they have emotional feelings, but they dont care about when others die, such as somone who know one thinks about and cares about... A homeless person, if they were in a suit and working in a Sears they would be more important then they were on the streets?!? Thats just crazy! Does the golden rule aply to anyones lives anymore?!? "Treat someone the way you want to be treated" Do you treat homeless people the same way you treat yourself? Anyways I'm just saying, no one really cares about homeless people, when The Crocidile Hunter died, everyone was emotional, but when a starving child dies, people just put him aside, sure he wasnt on TV, but he was a somebody!
Sorry if you think this is a n00bish threadm I just had to let it out...go ahead and lock this if you want! :)
