Page : <1> :
The routers I have seen work with TT right out of the box. The only thing u need to do is to setup port forwarding if running a server. U should be able to play just fine.
Id reinstall but first see what support@bravetree.com or 56k have to say

Thanks, Bolo, good ideas.

You should probably post this on the Technical support board, because no one goes here to the help board.
If you still use this then I have an answer connect the DSL modem to your WAN port on your router

Has me stumped, but may be obvious to you pros. Here are the clues:
1. It started when I installed my new Netgear router (WRG614) to replace the old (also Netgear) one.
2. No, I'm on a wired connection with this machine, not wireless. This is linked to my DSL modem (unchanged)
3. The router seems to hit the internet just fine at all times.
4. Happens 10 to say 30 minutes into games on all servers (as far as I can tell).
5. Seems to happen when my tank suddenly hits what I call a lag rock; stutters to a stop, vibrates in place (this may be a symptom not a cause, but I used to see it when I never got disconnected). Then I see the unplugged icon. Never comes back like "real" (server) disconnects used to do.
6. Here's an odd thing: When I Refresh the server list after the disconn, I usually don't see the server I was on, sometimes for several refreshes.
7. It usually happens when I'm ahead, or catching up, or... (just joking here)
Anyhow, it tends to suck. Any ideas? The router settings are very few; it does firewall, NAT, DHCP automatically. Do I need to open special ports for TT? Port forwarding? Anyone else ever seen this.
Thanks, MkIV
