I'm rather new to PTT but I've been playing TT for quite a while. I started this thread for people to tell their favorite tanks and why as well as favorite tactics. These are mine:

Favorite tank: Boss UFO (Flying Saucer). Because of its huge armour, excellent maneuverability and medium acceleration. It has a very powerful cannon and is an excellant sniper. I use it to strike spawn points and the light tank otherwise. XD

Favorite tactic:Battlemode: Circle dodging, sliding, spawn sniping, reverse charging.
Scrum: Running to Scrumball, intercepting, orbiting.

Favorite map: New mod (goodfellas), Cranium crater, Receptor Ridge.

Self-rating: B-mode: 4 with 1 being highest, 10 lowest :P
Scrum: 6 :P

Favorite tank:light tank: this tank is has more armor than the ufo and is fast enough.the ufo is either too fast or has too little armor. :'(
the light tank is my favorite tank because I can sniper and get away fast XD and I can last a few hits if I get discovered :S

Last game played before this was posted:=goodfellas server I one with 104 kills %) %) %) but an eror report stopped it all ask boom about how many points I had

Favorite tactic:BM=snipering and quick speedy hit and run tactics XD

Favorite map:Goodfellas and any other thing as long as its a mod :P

Self rating: 90 on the scale from 1-100 because my sniper tactics got me 104 kills in 40 minutes but its hard to surive direct battles for me! :'(

Yesterday, I battled Ivan in his light tank using a BossUFO in Volcania2. I killed him thrice without losing a life and not even a smoke from the BossUFO! He called me "an invincible frisbee" and left the game soon after. Legionary's never survived a head on battle, but is an excellant sniper. However, Blink is way stealthier. Light, Medium and UFO are all speed/agility types while Heavy(now rendered useless.) and BossUFO are armour/firepower types. The BossUFO has a 9-round rapidfire.

PS: We were both using BounceBack ammo and both took five hits.

And thanks disturbance for saying im an excellant sniper and im good in group battles and btw the thing about the med tank was 4 months ago!

When im facing another light and I got bounceback a head on charge always helps me

Head on charges never work on my Circle dodging or Reverse charge tactics which can be done in Light, Medium or small UFO. I always use BB or AEffect in goodfellas and normal ammo in Lush, Spooky, Frantic. Many charging freaks have fallen to circle dodging or reverse charge. They charge at u. U charge away from them, can see them, dodge them and shoot them while they can't dodge or stop u. Best way to zap a medium or light.

In RTW before a battle my general says stuff to lift the spirits of my troops and my troops realy start taunting them and calling them lots of stuff depending on which civilization is taunting the enemy
the unsults could range from "stinking rats" for barbarians to "barbarian curs" for romans

Fav. Tactic =bm stay on a weak person that I could kill easily.

Fav. Map = T-bones racing mods cassies mods(blitz, edger all there maps)

My personal favorite has long been the light tank because it slides, I sometimes manage to avoid a good amount of fire by travelling in irregular paths.

I also like the sheer speed and # of rounds in a clip. If your aiming at a still target its pretty easy to do a good amount of damage before they move.

Recently I tried playing against the bots again in Quick Play and scored equally high with the Light and Heavy, but I had to conclude that the Medium is the worst tank, with only 2 thirds the score with the Light or the Heavy.
