Must have grown up near a nuclear spill.
^ I thought the same thing...
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
I thought I would share this.
The guy on the right and I grew up together and have been great freinds for about 20 years. He recenlty moved to the west coast because of a love interest.
My brother called me out of the blue a month or so ago and said turn on ESPN.
HOLY CRAP it's EDDIE!
I was not suprised to see that he was in a boxing match as I had been with him from his very first fight (in which he was knocked out big time.)
What did suprise me is and that it was on ESPN.
Johnathon is sharing his dressing room on this night with heavyweight fighter, Edward Gutierrez, who is slated to fight former heavyweight contender David Tua. The contrast in the two camps in this dressing room is very noticeable. Gutierrez starts late, is not warmed up (at all) before the fight, and barely makes it to the ring in time to start fighting. Contrast this to the professional, relaxed, but completely prepared side of the room run by Emanuel.
Mean looking dude, but real great gentle guy. Almost married my sister as a matter of fact.

If you don't know what Racer's talking about, take a look here:

At seven feet tall and 320 pounds, Nikolai "The Russian Giant" Valuev (44-0, 32 KOs), from St. Petersburg, Russia, is the tallest and heaviest heavyweight champ in history. Promoted as more of a sideshow than a boxer early in his career, he has started to shed the novelty tag in his last three fights. Scoring a unanimous decision victory over slick Larry Donald in October 2005, Valuev got his first shot at the title when he faced John Ruiz for a heavyweight belt two months later. While Ruiz' experience and relentless style made him the favorite, Valuev proved himself with a unanimous decision win. Since that triumph, Valuev, 33, has defended his title once, earning a TKO victory against Owen Beck on June 3. This fight marks just his third appearance on American soil.
So what if he's 7 feet tall, 320 pounds with a 36 foot reach. I'd take him down in one round.
Holy freak!
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.
Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.
