I am upset that so many of you will not tell your moding secrets. Like the /ufo code and Paco's cloneing scipt. Why would you want that a secret? I mean all you are doing is depriving your self and others of great mods. I have a another mod idea, but I need Pacos cloneing script to do it. I think it will be cool, but no ones going to ever see it if Paco doesn't tell me his secret. I don't want to just get mad at Paco because he hasn't replyed yet at Impossible Odds and im posting it here because I don't think he will see it. If you don't want to get people runing to you because they messed up there game then just tell it to moders that know what they are doing (like me XD). I know there are many other moding secrets, but I just don't know what they are. Plz tell us your secrets because I don't get the point of not telling us. Thanks.

Why should we have to wast all that time and energy just to find out something someone allready knows! Some of us here can't because we don't own Torque Game Engine . Any way I don't get why people are so mean (or stumbern) not to tell us? If I could ever find something out that was new I would tell every one. IMO most of the stuff that we keep secret is for the good of the comunity. I could see it now, some imature freaf makes an object and puts porn or something as the skin, and there are tons of younger people here. Do you think thier parents wll let them play a game where thier children could be exposed to things like that? I dont think so. And dont say it wont happen, I know it would eventually.

Yes...that is true. It is very sad though that the world has come to that. Any way that still dosen't prove the point that /ufo and clone sripts are secret. You can't put stuff like that on there, they're not objects. So its allright that you keep making objects and skining them a secret, but not what I said. I agree that any thing that some "freak" chould mess up and make it "bad" should be a secret. The /ufo and clones how can that be turn into something bad?

But stuff like the cloning(which can be done if u run a dedicated server, just type in lighttank.create(); to create a untitled tank, the light can be replaced wit medium or heavy, and the create a clone of a human, type cadd #.createplayer();), but the powerup cloning can't be done like that.. I don't think. But I was in dis one server one time, and the dude made it so there was 2 goals, and 2 scrums, and I asked him politely "DUDE!!!! That awsome! How do u do that?!?!", and he rudely said "its a secrest ;)", then I said "wtf dude?", and then I just left. NOW C'MON!!!!!! Thats a stupid thing to keep secret, I mean if I was him I wud be proud to say how I did it, it wud make me feel smart, hehe. So c'mon guys, stop being friggin faggots and just tell us those kinda things, I mean u can't keep it a secret forever, so u might as well let it out now. I mean damn, and if u guys don't agree, well... This whole thing is screwed.

Nathan, -Z-, Micheal, Linx, 187, Roach, Paco, and many more are a lot better at moding then me and I would like to ask so kindly if they could teach me how they make these cool scripts such as colen script and how to put a tank in a mod. All of these people have been around TT for a long time and I wish they would spread their inteligents to all the newer TTers. With all due to respect I will allways give them as much credit as possible or as much as they want. Plz I beg of you plz teach or tell me! :[

Me too, like The Legendary, I mod pretty good servers, (Not enough to be put on "the best modders list", though), but still pretty good. I almost always have a full 10/10 server even when I put 12 it came up to 12/12, after that it got laggy. But that shows you that people like my mods. If I had some of those "good" codes, like cloning, and the /ufo, people would like it even more and recognoze me as a good modder. I agree also, that giving it away will give you "good" modders a better reputation, instead of hiding it away from all of us middle class modders. Then only you "good" modders could have those great mods, and get better at it. And the middle class (like me) would never have a chance to improve, and we would be called worse, because now we are compared to someone even BETTER. :S

This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of,If it's a secret,It won't spread,and that secret is lost forever,TELL US!

It is spreading slowly but surely, I know of about 10 people that have it so far.

If you wont tell anyone,how can it spread? Pure logic man,pure logic.

I have told one person, and they told one or two, and the person I told im sure is going to tell a few.

But how can I learn them? I stink! Plus I want to make my mod maps good... At this rate,I'll never be good... :(

I'm hoping that I can learn the secrets fast. For starters, Can you tell which file where you modify to make the Ufo switch thingy? Ya know,I just might keep secrets myself.
