Dont worry about the demo thing you see it didnt work either
Update the drivers for your video card. Don't use the default Windows drivers, they have terrible OpenGL support. Look on the manufacturer's website.

Well you need to find out what model your video card is.
And I how do I find out is the prob
There;s about 10 different ways you can do it. Here's my way (it's probably not the easiest way but it's how I check on anything graphics-wise):
Go to your start menu, hit Run, and type dxdiag. Onceyou're in the Direct X diagnostic tool, click the "Display" tab. Under the heading "Device" you can see the manufacturer of your video card.
