If you have not bothered to read all of these then please don't come and play Team Scrum ! Other wise you are going to get yelled at by us Vets for making stupid mistakes !!
Don't get me wrong we love new players but there is a Big Difference from Indie Scrum and Team Scrum ! Thank you ! B)

Every noob should see this thread.. Perhaps we should have a section for indie scrum rules too?
Maybe -z- could post a permanent Guidelines to TT games (scrum & battlemode), a neat little Do's and Don't's tipsheet for newcomers and veterans who lose their way.

I'm starting to think I need to pay this "Team Scrum" a little more attention. As a TB guy, I understand the "team" concept. And before some of you start moaning...I suppose I'll squeeze myself in a light for those games. B)

Please read all 5 threads above about TS before I hear any more of your dam whinning ! That and so the team you end up on, doesn't have to go through this with you again & mybe they can have a good game ! XO

Look people I made this topic for a dam reason ! Read them ! Now I am sorry for the BS tonight but getting real tired of all the idiots.
There are 3 main things you need to know to play team scrum !
1. Never go to the goal smoking
2. Pass when smoking if possible
3. Team kill after a goal is made if any team mates are smoking or if far enough away from goal for them to respawn and help
4. Wait for team to clear the goal this is not Indie, you have a team
5. Learn to drive with your radar especially around the goal
6. Shoot the other team if they have a team mate near you, don't kill them just get them smoking
7. Watch the chat box for comments from your team mates
8. If you still have the original radar get 2x or 3 times radar

Now all these things you will find in more detail in the threads above. Please read them ! :(

Lets just say,
the way I have seen some people play as of late,
that it was time to bump this !

Thanks for the bump, perfect timing. I think everybody playing TS should take LW's "3_lol main things you need to know" and tape it to the side of their monitor. I'm really starting to dig TS, but sometimes it's hard to shake those old indie instincts.

Will I read it, I learned it, and I played by it.
After being in team game tonight (Tue 5/1 9:30 P)with the likes of LW, Dash, Sheena, Professer, B*D*SS, Mag, and others. I'll take any feed back I can get. Did you see any improvement that and what else can I do to improve? Like Lonewolf said this is a must read for those new to team scrum.

Hmm, beings we have all kinds of newbies on tt I figured I would revive this thread XD

One thing about being a newbie, they never want to read. Yes, it does seem like every time I enter a server with a new person on my team and give them a freshie, I see, "DUDE WTF WTF WTF WTF1!1!11!!!."

Yeh, and also when im smoking heavily and I pass the scrum to a teammate, it really bugs me when they dont kill me off lol. They just leave me there smoking and useless, where as if they killed me I could of respawned somewhere else so he could pass back when hes smoking...

It seems a lot of people need to go back and read the threads about evening teams. Here are my personal guidelines:

1) If a game is obviously lopsided, it needs to be fixed fast . Lopsided TS games make people leave. There are cases where this does not apply though. Occasionally one team just gets all the lucky breaks and the score is lopsided, but then will make a nice comeback or reverse the score in the next game. Use some common sense. If one team is dominating and walking every goal in uncontested, there is a problem.

2) When adjusting teams or trying to figure out how to even the teams, STOP PLAYING until things are figured out. This seems like common sense, but I cannot count the number of times where people ignore this.

3) If a game is in progress and has even numbers on each team, DON'T just jump in and play. Either be red (if there is an admin), ask if you can go ahead and play, or just sit until another player shows up.

A little common sense goes a long way. Let's all work together to make TS more fun.
