A chat room isn't a PTT thread. It's a channel on an IRC server. There's a pretty big difference. Ad we already have a thread, we don't need 2. Locky locky!

No kidding... But a 24/7 dedicated server of ANY kind would be pretty hard to host.
Fortunately, we don't need a server.
We could just post a GL chatroom on a server. You just need an IRC client. I'm partial to mIRC, personally...
