Learn some tutorials

You seem to learn fast. So just get some tuts and put them to work.

This is what I got from tutorials. Filters? I only use filters for brushed metal effects.

^ Well, "Liquid Plastic" looks like "Liquid Satin " in my book, which is fine.

There are just elements here that seem to think using filters is evil or cheating or whatever. Personally, if they're used effectively, they're OK. I have noticed that people are sometimes impatient with those how are learning the ropes since they're always waiting for the next best thing, but you've got to learn the process and walk before you can run. These skins are fine beginner skins. Keep working and soon you'll discover your own style.

I think No Name should be Liqiud lava chaos :P

I don't see how finding out the layer styles = you learning some tuts.
