Honestly, I think the map is much more interesting than the tank. There's lots of energy and excitement there while the tank is a little bland. However, I'm only seeing one side of the tank, so if you could post more shots from different angles, I may change my mind.

Still, overall a good effort.

I like how you turned the camera in a 90° angle. How did you ever manage to do that? :o

Sweet! I'll hafta try dat!
PS- like the lava tank, though it reminds me more of a lava snake 8o still looks sweet though!

Personally I'm not real fond of the terrains, but I've never been into tie-dye or psychedelic imagery.

First tank skin was rather bland, as others have mentioned.
The heavy tank skin is psychedelic-like again, so not real fond of it either.
The lava skin isn't bad at all. It's biggest problem is that the entire tank looks the same, so you lose some of the visual effect. Some ways you can improve it is to line the scales up horizontally or aligned with the tank panels and differentiate the different portions of the tank so they can be seen.

Yeah... The weird colors are weird, but it hink it would be fun. If one had the right skin, it would be hard trying to find the other tanks!

PS- hey TMO, whatever happened w/ those cookies? XD

They were starting to get stale, so I ate them. XD

Ah... One would think the shrinkwrap would stop that 8o hmm. What WAS the shrinkwrap for anyways.... I take it my apocolyptic theory wasn't valid XD

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

You did that in GIMP??? Omfg, I am DEFINITELY switching to Linux... The first pic looks like caramel... Yum... Great job.

I barely noticed the tank skin on the first picture. I thought the skins were the terrain textures.

IMHO the best skins so far have been these: heavy tank skin with the colorful zigzag coloring, medium tank: volcano lava tank, light tank: the thing and the rock skins are interesting.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Definately fresh and fun stuff....keep up the good work...you're doing good with filter adjustment/scale/application, ever try adding car rims or differnt effects on the wheels and treads? Instead of an overall texture? Just a thought...explain the app you are working on though...never heard of it...thanks!

I take it Gimp is Linux only... I can't get it for Windows :[. Oh well, another reason to switch!

The GIMP is almost the same as Photoshop (if not more powerfull!) and it can be downloaded for all OS's!!

For example I made this (my best) skin in the GIMP:

This thread seems pointless now that GQShooter has deleted most of his images.

Therefore...
