Forums Index >> Modding >> the deal with telling people about modding

Page : <1> :

I will only tell people what they want to know if they tell me something I want to know (with some exceptions) this will help people get off my nerves with people asking annoying questions on modding. I suggest other modders do the same or if not post up ur strategy here.

I tell em a bit then send 'em here. That way they learn to MOD AND find the forums.

I, for one, am happy to help people with NORMAL MODDING. If you ask me about anything advanced I get enough of it already so 1) if im in a public server I will ignore you or 2) if in my server you will either a) be silenced b) given a duncetank c) given a the name I R DUNCE or d) kicked if you annoy me enough. Also I am not your tech support agentand you cant expect me to patch up all of your modding mistakes (like if you mess up your game attempting new emitters and such) none of my mods are up for download, and I dont plan to release any of them any time soon and if so I will make SURE that they are copy-proofed in a dso file. I hope that if any of you have questions about NORMAL modding that you will find it.

Peace

Same with me. But, I tell them "It's too advanced", and if they don't listen, there is a nice banning script for them.
