To join you must be invited by Officer(any elected official) only !
YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF IF YOU ASK. YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF IF YOU DON'T ASK. YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF.
IF WE WANT YOU, WE WILL ASK ! Once that has happened then we put it to the members to vote on !

 

 

 

1. Have Fun (Best Rule Yet )

2. We never want to kick anyone ouf of UF, but occasionally an event arises where we must act. Notices will be sent
by UF Enforcer, following officer's vote on action or complaint. The UF Enforcer is the voice of the majority vote of
the officers; the UF Enforcer is independant monitor of all UF disiplinary action. The office of Enforcer is only here
to do the biding of the people. If you have a problem with ANYONE, email the UF Enforcer.

3. UF will emphasize good sportsmanship, maintain honor, and display good attitude inside TT chat and in PTT
forums. This includes, but is not limited to:
No Fighting not with UF, not with other players.
No Swearing If caught you will be notified by the Enforcer. You could be fired pending officer's vote.
No Disrespect You must all ways treat your Leaders with Respect. Not saying you must kiss our butts.
Just treat us the same way you expect us to treat you.
No Impostering Any UF member caught team killing, or impersonating another TT member will be
released immediately.
No Lying You will be asked to leave.
No Other Alliances You can only be in UF ! No other armies (leagues do not count)! Breaking this rule will be
grounds for being asked to leave !
No Return If you have left UF for any reason, you will not be allowed to return without a full team vote.

4. You must all ways have UF in your name. Permissions and acceptions to this rule may be obtained by member
vote. Grandfathering applies if you have had previous permission.

5. No army may challenge UF after it has lost to us for 3 months.

People who may never join: SPERM, UFO SEAL, MONCKY, DESTROYER and -V- aka FireFly,JoePBx/DAS/XT/EE, Gee-joe

ARMIES that are Allies of UF :

1. NONE !

PEOPLE who are Allies of UF but not in UF(special conditions must not be in any armies)

1. Muscles
2. Chief

Armies waiting to go to War with UF, in no order of "Who's Next ? " And UF terms of a Challenge.
Battles(meaning 1 event) verses Wars (meaning a race to 2 in TS,CTF & TBM & the first Army o win 2 out of the 3 events wins the war)

If your Army is considered in the Top 5 Armies, then UF will only do Wars with you.

If you are not in the top 5 Armies then yes UF will do a single Battle with you.

Trust me we train our new recruits very hard, just ask any one of them ! In 2 weeks I took Pyronin
from a basic no body, who had no clue what CTF was and now I would say he is one of UF's top 7 players if they were playing 1 on 1 in CTF !

DrSawBones and I have worked very hard also with Alex01. Now I am not saying he is the bomb but I tell you what, he can hold his own in all areas of TT. Right now I am working with Red Seal. Last night alone I spent about 3 to 4 hours with him teaching him new things in TS and in TBM not to mention helping him install all the very important things you need to take your skills to the next level !

Next in line for training at least with me is either Hakko or wiTTy ! We also hold at least once every other week a UF group practice in one of the 5 forms of TT !

You must keep in mind the first thing we look for in a member is how they present them selfs to others ! Skills can be taught to any one if they are willing to learn ! So don't let our recent recruits make you think we are falling. In about 2 months from now I am willing to bet any one of them can hold there own in any area of TT !

By the way we still are undefeated ! B)

Wheres my army I hear you ask? Well when I first joined the world of TT I was a member of two armies and it didnt take me long to realise that the word "armies" doesnt stand for much really,it would be more appropriate to call them teams or perhaps groups. The word army induces a sense of cohesiveness,a rigid structure and regularity which I have yet to see in any army on TT. All I see are amazing team threads full of statements trying to evoke army mentality and a sense of unity and purpose like they were written by a politician whos just got into office. In practice though not half of the things in army threads get done in practice. Apart from being able to add a couple of letters on the end of your name and playing a few ts games now and again thats where it starts and ends. Regular whole army meetings?-Non Existent. Regular whole army practicing?-Non existent. Regular whole army anything is non existent thereby making the word army totally and absolutely useless. The most used and most popular part of TT is indie scrum where being in an army has no bearing whatsoever and as far as Im concerned thats what TT is. Indie is where legends are made thats where ppl make their mark nothing to do with so called armies.

Professional? Trainers? Coaches?.......right. For some reason Im starting to think, the what I would assume are thick lines between online gaming and reality, are fast becoming somewhat blurred to some people. It is called gaming after all and Id hardly describe it as professional unless Rooster has figured out a way of making a living from playing think tanks that he hasnt shared with the rest of us. You have just contradicted yourself. You cant call a group elite then say their not elitist. Being an elitist group means that certain criteria need to be fulfilled in order to become a member and as you said you investigate in order to see if they fulfill the criteria of being elite since UF is "an army of the elite." So unfortunately you have just shown us a fine misnomer because elite and elitist can not be seperated.

Also try typing a message without simply parroting the lines you read on the team thread

Good luck to any1 who has the guts to run around calling themselves a professional think tank player. Just dont write it on your resumee.

I will post a screenshot and a direct link to the map in question, including instructions for those who don't know how to install modded maps. Furthermore, there are certain guidelines regarding how I intended this map to be played. I will post information about that as well.

But I was cresting the hill and saw Roscoe go into the goal
and just as quickly come out and dive with the scrum
The game chat somewhat reflected what I thought I saw and
my feathers were ruffled. I mean who would dive with the flag in CTF with 4 point lead!
Anyways! I went to the other CTF server and hookedup in a 2v2 w/bots game
The opponents had no idea why I was so aggresive and paid a heavy price
We won 12 to 2 with me getting 20 personal kills. Hehe!

As an apparently educated person I hope you can see that the real reason of UF, as well as other armies, is actually to add a new dimension to this game.

Are all 20 +/- members of UF the elite of the game? Probably not. BUT - they each have their own particular level of expertise in at least one game type. Most of them have "ownage" ability in more than one.

I have been out of UF for quite sometime now, so I really don't have any direct knowledge of why they decided to add some of the newer members to their roster. While I was equally surprised at their decision to bring some of the folks in that they did, I applaude their decision to do it, as the game as a whole really needed some new blood. Jacob made a great point regarding this.

Hopefully some other armies / groups can get their collective crap together and give UF a run for their money (finally). I think I speak for them one and all when I say they are looking forward to it.
