To make a very quick & easy TT object skin (radar, anyone?), I've got an idea:
1. Make a background picture for the skin & open in PS.
2. Open the corresponding.alpha.jpg file in PS.
3. Copy the whole.alpha and paste it onto your pic.
4. Set the layers to "Multiply" and press Ctrl (or Command)+E to blend.
5. Save your work.
