I prefer trance, house, and similar song types. I have heard some awesome songs like that with some VERY cool synth parts too. There was a really good DJ Tiesto concert (Live in Amsterdam) that had some truly impressive synth parts.

"Waldorfwordwide" - Good Charlotte
Great song, but I've only listened to it like a million times.
Peaches come from a can,
They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way,
Id eat peaches every day
Sun-soakin bulges in the shade
Anyone heard the kids toy deal singing my little pony?
It's driving me nuts.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
Now it's "10000 Days (Wings for Marie, Part 2)". It starts as a quiet, simmering bass line, builds up over 8 minutes, stops dead, and then explodes for a minute straight. It has some inspiring lyrics, too. The singer wrote it about his late mother, Judith Marie Garrison, who had a nasty stroke that left her wheelchair-bound for 27 years, or about 10000 days. It has some amazing percussion, not to mention the guitarist and bassist play in different meters.
In the arms of the angels
Now it's "Optimistic" by Radiohead. Very cool song!

^ Good tracks triv.
But for now, after browsing the internet for a while, I have gotten myself stuck on wierd al's new song White and Nerdy .
HAHA, Racer I actually saw that during someday this week. AND LMAO!!!!
Yesterday I browsed to a nice music video called Carlito - Who's that boy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6gZiWeek4w . I think you either like it or hate it... It is that type of song, but funny video imo. This guy is a Swedish artist who has earlier had alias' like Dr. Bombay(Indian theme) and Dr. MacDoo(Scottish theme).

I dunno about y'all, but I am always addicted to one song or another...it actually changes almost every day, but for that entire 24 hour period I can't stop listening to something "over and over and over and..." you get the idea.
What song are you addicted to RIGHT NOW?
Tell us the name, artists, genre, and a bit about why you like it.
Right now, for me it is:
SONG: The Fallen
ARTIST: Franz Ferdinand
REASON: First off, the tune is pathetically catchy. But it's not simple enough that you know it after the first listen. Also, the lyrics are complicated and well thought out enough that I am still trying to figure out if I agree with what it is saying or if I don't. For someone with very clear ideas of what they believe, this is appreciable in a song....it keeps me on my toes while I listen to it.
Chazzeck it out!
