Beat me up as much as you please for speaking out about this, but I was recently REMOVED from Dash administration. Having asked Dash later of the pass change- he said I was VOTED out by admins he's had over a year, and the reason most commonly stated was my AGE. You know who you are, and if you're not, PLEASE stick up for this. You know how much it sucks to be in a non-administrated game, team killers pop up, and teams go unbalanced, as Chorionic mentioned in his thread. Honestly- it is really a better thing for the community to have as many TRUSTWORTHY admins as possible. I see where dash was going with his talking of using admin codes as a toy, but I have never done that, and don't ever intend to, and I believe that is something those voters seemed to have just plainly MISSED. Please re-think your decision... It will be that many hours more of administrated gameplay that is improved for all. I have quite a good idea of who those votes were from, but I will not pinpoint here. Think of the improvement...

Age shouldn't be a measure of how well somebody can admin/lead. I do think there were some admins that deserved to be removed from the list, but Niko isn't one of them.

Agreed fully niko. In this case, age shouldn't matter as long as they get the job done.

Theyre just tying to make the best of getting old. Let 'em have it.

I tottally agree with u niko, age should have nothing to do with TT at all, and no one should be judged by that

OK then lets just go with this age thing then. Maybe there was a vote and maybe there wasn't and it was based on age. Umm so what, to bad, so sad. It's dashes server and he can have all the freaking admins that he wants, or doesn't want. No offense he owes you or no one else an explanation. I think its a great thing that dash does, letting us use HIS server. Why in the hell should he put up with coming to PTT and find an accusatory/negative thread, do you think he deserves it? The last thing I would ever want to have happen is have someone like dash ever think " you know what, I am sick of this bs, I'm done". This thread is bs...

Yes, Im glad to see all the bmers going to dashbash. Good games. Very thankful for it. Niko, I think that a personal email would do better than a whole thread instead of involving everybody. He owns the server, he has the right to decide who is an admin and who is not. Whats the idea with power over here. What I have seen in the past, those who have admin powers are afraid to loose them.

Because I get this type of response from all the *cough*cough*"mature"*cough*cough* members here, I think they need to look at themselves. This is an online game- the one place where age honestly should not matter, and the only people who deny that are the adults.

I've never kicked someone on account of noobishness, out of at least 25 different people being newbs.

Now, competent != active, but I'm 14. I can keep my server running with at least 95% uptime, keep it updated with scripts, and kick people if need be (not often, I've kicked 2 people so far, one for swearing out of control, another for logging in repeatedly as an admin). Age isn't related to maturity or competence.
