We as a PTT community need to draw the line somewhere with all these dang new armies!!!! I've just looked at the LORE threads and there arent over 20 armies total. But what do I see when I look at PTT??? Over 100 armies and only about 10% of them actually last. But the others just wander around PTT forums. (No offence) but these are some examples of the stupidest names for armies I've seen on page 1: Dog Pound Army, Team Whiners (or is that Team Winners?), War Animals... Etc on the next few pages. Do people even think about the name of their army anymore? Or did it just pop in their ~~~~~~' heads? Maybe this is just how people like PTT to be. I guess it would make the top armies look better since they have more and more people to look down on. Maybe I'm just overly ~~~~ed since my tire popped on my journey home... But I think any sane person would find all these armies a tad bit... Odd...

Lock the army forums <-> if you post a thread, before it gets seen by PTT's, it firstly gets send to an moderator. Maybe a Army-Forum-Mod?

First of all, who gives a pile of crap about an army's name? It is all about the army's potential and determination that is important. What If I made the name of Dark Assassins to Happy Sunshines? It would be an odd name, but I would still have an army that has immense skill and organization. If there is one who has not given thought, it would be you Mr. Az (no offense). XD

Anywho, this is just another person wanting less armies, nothing new. There isn't anything to do, and if I remember right, LONEWOLF posted that if anyone who says "Quit this army now!1!1!!!1one!" or anything to that effect, will be silenced, I may be wrong tho. Anyways, what's wrong with new challengers? I once thought the armies were a tad bit annoying. Now, I just find them either full of spam, or more competition. Oh and Cas, I doubt z or Dan would lock the armies forums.

Maybe the only way to filter these armies is to have a league of some sort. But do you really suppose DogPoundArmy is really gonna make it to the top 3? Lol

I think that we should find some way to moniter and rate a armies particiaption and activity levels and if they dont meet the standards than they have to delete the army

We could do that, but I don't think certain armies would favor it. Being looked at, criticized and such wouldn't be the best motivation. I don't see the problem with just asaking a mod to delete a thread that's dead. As for the thriving ones, just live with them, and don't read them.

Now I say dont lock the army forums! First of all the GOA is getting better! (besides the lack of members that im working on). Socond of all PTT should be open to all ppl (maybe even n00bs). Third of all It is a FREE Country and The PTT comunity is a nice one! Now if we were all to join the "PTT Army" that "-z-" is in (it says on his Person forum thingy he is a member of the "Planet Think Tanks Army") than we wouldnt need other army's! PTT could have 1 BIG army! And anyone who went against us would Fall in War! I'm not saying that we should lock the army forums and I dont think we should!!!!! But if we do, (and I mean the Admin/Moderators) Then we all have a place to be one "BIG" Comunity/Army!!!! Thank You...

First of all, not every1 on PTT is in the US, lol (just jokin' around).
@Blitz, I don't see why PTT can't delete old army threads and have the army compitition.
@All, look at it this way. All the armies who don't join the league will be known as the whimpy, unimportant armies of TT/PTT. And all who join and don't win will at least have the satisfaction that they had the courage to try.

The league sounds good, but not all the army leaders or members could make the times. And, you're telling me if I don't enter Mi, it's whimpy? I'm just saying we could leave it as is, one army dies, the mods lock it.
