Right and left alike, feast your eyes on this...

On September 15th, a major Congressional committee - rejecting attacks from Turkey and the Bush Administration - approved legislation recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

Bush? Rejecting the recognition of a genocidal event? Say, what was this event anyways?

Dennis Hastert, Speaker of the House, has it in his power to accomplish one of System's goals - official U.S. Recognition of Turkey's destruction of 1.5 million Armenians between 1915 and 1923.

1.5 million... Unnoticed... And, WHY does Bush want this not to be brought to light?

...

Hmm... It really does make you wonder. But again, thanks to this anonymous political group, there's a way around it:

Click here to take action and send a free WebFax urging Hastert to hold a vote on the Armenian Genocide Resolution.

Thanks again to this "anonymous political group", who saw further than any of us on this issue...
Whaddya mean, it's System of a Down? Strange, but true.
Yeah, yeah, I know, SOAD's Armenian themselves, so? They didn't introduce the legislature.
And Bush rejected it...

Read the SOAD article on wikipedia . It has loads of useful links for the stuff they are involved in, including the Armenian genocide (I find Serj Tankian's page has a lot of essays written by him that make a lot of sense. Try reading "Understanding Oil" ). Did you know that Arnold Schwarzenegger movies are illegal in Turkey becaue he made April 24 Armenian genocide remembrance day in California (with help from SOAD)?

EDIT: Also check out the Axis of Justice . A very interesting site! ;)
