I am assuming you are on Windows. You can check what kind of video card you have by right-clicking on the dekstop. Then on the menu that comes up, click Properties:
A window will open. Click the Settings tab in that window.
Under the Monitor picture(s), there will be your video card's maker, chip and type.
On the example picture above, see on there where it says ATI Mobility M4? That is your video card!
ATI makes the Radeon and Mobility series along with others. NVIDIA makes the Geforce and TNT2 series along with others. Intel and other companies like S3/VIA and 3DFX make video cards too. Video card drivers can usually be found somewhere on the manufacturer's web site.
Welcome to ThinkTanks and have fun!

Okay as stated at the header of this forum category, I would like to download the latest driver for my video card, however...... I'm too illiterate to figure out who makes my card or where to even find this info on my pc. So any help laid out in the very plainest of terms to this pc midget would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all
