256 mb video
and a ghz lan card
total cost for parts $850 US
Time is took to build and load 4hrs
Playing on TT = priceless

EDIT: I bought this comp 2 years ago as an Apple refurnished model from their site for about 700 bucks. Pretty good price considering I got the RAM free.

I have a AMD 64 3400+ with 1GB DDR Ram, two 80GB ATA Hard Drives, And the XTASY RADEON X800 PRO.

Best of all, it's not a MAC!!!

^ yay and boo... Macs = better. 1.33 ghz 256mb RAM (still tryin to get more) Airport Extreme card, OSX TIGER!!! And, it is a laptop. Not that good,I know, but it gets the job done.

Secondary PC:

Intel Pentium II

400 MHz, 416 MB SDRAM, 20gb total hard disk space, nVidia Geforce 256 32mb on AGP 2x, 15" CRT monitor.

It's not that bad, really.

Third PC:

Intel Celeron

633 MHz, 384 MB SDRAM, 20gb total hard disk space, ATI Radeon 7000 64mb on PCI, 15" CRT monitor.

-Connectivity: Belkin wireless card that doesn't work on Linux, Intel Ethernet Pro 100 (aka E-Pro, ignore Beck-based pun)
-Sound/Video: Intel, integrated into chipset 8(
-Software: Photoshop 7, Gimp, ThinkTanks (doesn't work), FireFox 1.5 beta "DeerPark", ArtIcons 4.15, Fraps 2.6, iTunes, etc.

That's not a serial number that you type in when you install windows. It's a registration ID that's generated and sent to Micro$oft to register your copy of the PC. Just try typing that code into the install. It won't work.

^Wow, dazz I wish I had a comp like that, mines pretty good wit the Athlon64-bit microprocessor but urs at 3.7Ghz is a rocket! B) And my flatscreen is only a 15" HP f1523. But better than my old moniter which was last used 2 yrs ago.

Who cares, his is 3.73 Ghz, in a Pentium that too, and 4 printers and CD-RW and DVD-RW(even I have that) drives and 3mega cable broadband and tons of software and 3 160GB Harddrives and... 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o
