^ I've played against a few of the top heavies. I've also played as a heavy for a time. I know how the heavy works as well as you do. They can take a bit of fire, can shoot with short rounds and do plenty of damage, and don't run out of ammo often.
However, even with an expert handler, the heavy is slow moving and big. With enough skill, the light can use that advantage to take out a heavy without being in the shot-range of a heavy (meaning simply that while the heavy is moving through uneven ground, the light can fire at a part of the heavy, yet the light doesn't show on the screen). Now, this can be used vice-versa, however, it's more common with the light.
Also, again they are slow. If you find a lone heavy, group up on it with a few lights. Don't let the heavy focus in on one, and you can easily take the heavy down with minimal damage.
However, in a 1 on 1, with both sides of even skill, you will have very even scores, as each tank has it's weakness that the other can exploit. It all depends on the handlers.
So no, I'm not referring to the noob heavy. I'm referring to all heavies. They all have the same weaknesses, just as the light does.It all depends on how the user can lessen that weakness and exploit their opponent's weakness. After all, isn't that all BM is?
The good heavies can move much better than the noob ones, maybe even better than the lighties.
The top heavies are saying that n00b heavies are slower. Is there something the top heavies have, and are not telling the n00b heavies? Do top heavies have an extra gear or something? HaHaHa. Heavies-got to love 'em!
^ lol very funny
If you think I'm calling you a noob, I'm not. What I mean is that experienced heavy players know the full capabilities of the heay's movement, and can use them very well. It can turn much faster, for example.
^ that all depends... See, all tanks basically have the same turning. However, lights at top speed have a much lower rotation than heavies at top speed. The reason is self-explanatory. BUT! When either tank is not moving forward at all, it makes no difference. Heavies are just so slow that they turn at about the same rate at top speed as to not moving at all. The more speed acquired with ANY tank, the harder it is to turn. Don't believe me? Just be a heavy and run over a boost pad and attempt to turn. You'll soon see what I'm talking about!

^ Not at all, Player. The difference between the top and n00b heavies, are ability and experience. You top heavies have been at this for years. Give this n00b some time, and I will have a extra gear too. At least you top heavies are helpful, and fun. Heavies-got to love 'em!
1-2 points would give us fatties a heart attack! But at least we'd win.
Heavies are not fatties, they are just big boned. But, they are pretty in the face!
^ u got me perfect
Im a FatMan
