BOO FOR MOSAIC/IE! XD Naw, I'm kidding. Mozilla FireFox user all the way (and I used to be a Mozilla beta tester), with Sylpheed
for email. Did ya know that "mozilla" came from "Mosaic killer"?
My backup browser is Opera. About as fast as FFX, and much more reliable than the 1.5 Beta I'm using.
EDIT: FFX rocks. I absolutely love the Mac skin (iFox), and it's a ton more secure than IE. Add in a search toolbar...
A CUSTOMIZABLE search toolbar... Remember Chilled Lizard's PTT Search for FFX plugin?

I remember when Mosiac came out. It was way better than the old gopher setup. (I still remember some great stuff I got over gopher, though.) Hypertext replaced the old gopher, Archie, Veronica, and Jughead stuff...
I really like the add ons for Firefox. Firefox is good, and has tabbed browsing built in, but my fave is Safari. It loads quickly, and seems to handle pages faster than the others. Unfortunately, some sites don't support it properly. I haven't tried Opera for a couple of years. It was OK.
Microsoft stopped supporting IE for Mac. How lame is that? Maybe they're trying to hide something... Or maybe the mac users have something better?
Fire fox all the way even tho Im gonna dowload the new IE7 just to check it out. Firefox is way safer because I tried this virused up site with Ie and my antivirus showed em and killed them then I tried firefox and no viruses got in.

What is your favorite web browser? I know there are some Opera fans out there...heh heh.
Personally, I've been a Microsoft Internet Explorer user ever since it was BETA many years ago.
I remember using the very first graphical browser for Windows called Spry Mosaic ! Then came NetScape Navigator which blew the doors open to the net! IE eventually overtook them as the premiere browser (thanks to the cost which was FREE vs $50 per NetScape license!).
I have to admit there are some things that I like better on NetScape and other newer browsers such as the tabbed interface which lets you view multiple websites in one browser. If you use IE like me, then you need to install the MSN Toolbar that adds the tabbed interface to IE!!!
The toolbar also includes pop-up blocker, local computer search engine, form-filler and more. All for free.
Another option is to install Maxthon which adds many excellent new features to IE such as the tabbed interface. It even lets you save groups of webpages you visit on a regular basis so you can open all of them with one click of the button instead of one at a time. Here is an example of one of my groups that opens several pages I visit all the time: yahoo, Turino Olympics, Ebay, and of course PTT.
If you're a risk-taker like I am, then you should just skip the above suggestions and just upgrade to the new Internet Explorer 7.0 BETA !
Includes the cool new tabbed interface and much much more!
Do you use Mozilla or FireFox ?
Anything else? The lame and mutant AOL Browser does not count!
Note: There's an excellent new online service that works with most browsers called LiveFavorites ! It saves all your favorites/bookmarks online so you can get to them from any computer in the world.
It will download/upload them as needed too. Only drawback there is a limit to how many you can keep for now.
In that case, if you have thousands like I do, go to FolderSHARE ! It will let you sync all bookmarks between home and work computer as well as any other folders/files!
