In contrast to the frequent complaints and descriptions relating to players who misbehave, I've decided to honor some of the many players who consistently demonstrate and embody great skill and great sportsmanship. My experience comes from meeting and competing with all of these guys at Repent's Mountain Fortresses.

JerryPBx: True gentleman; Great humor, decency, and comprehensive abilities. Phenomenal shooter.
mallhairmonkey: The most consistently accurate shooter I know. Great player, great guy.
Inego Montoya PB: At any given occassion, capable of defeating anyone. (I saw him take out 5 players in 3 seconds).
Hum PBx: The most aggressive and sometimes astounding player around. Innovative and absolutely fearless.
Lookin4u: A highly skilled shooter who infuses every game with humor, fairness and courtesy.
Dotz: Great shooting skill. Great humor. Plays (and mods) with creative passion.
Red Dragon: One of the game's best shooters...(or, one of the luckiest) :)
Scotty: Most enthusiastic; Great shooter; Executed the most brilliant impersonation of Ri Bot in TT history. Wonderful.
:-): Reminds me of Hum. Super aggressive, super deadly.
Pete: A gentleman player who rarely gets the credit he's due.
xxxXXBOSSXXxxx: A highly skilled shooter who plays for the love of the game.
Ouch, That Hurts: Highly skilled and aggressive. Never impolite. Very accurate shooter.
Legendary: Not exactly a living legend...But, a very good shooter who is usually a lot of fun, and who will improve with time.
Slipstream: Great humor; Great persistence; Also a much improved shooter.
(fm): An excellent and accurate shooter who always plays with courtesy and consideration towards others.
Tony Stewart: A success story of one who's skill continues to amaze, and who has matured into a real gentleman.
spy(PBx): The best in his age group. Very highly skilled. Very polite and courteous. (Good parenting, "*"Pbx).
geeeV (g5): The best of us all; Greatest speed and accuracy in shooting; Greatest strategic mastery the game (IMHO).
Repent: Who provides us with our favorite place to play, and concerns himself with every aspect of the quality of that experience for all players regardless of age or level of skill. He also taught me about the value of patience and intelligence in approaching the game.

This is my personal list. It is not comprehensive. I enjoy the privilege of knowing and playing with and against all of these great players. The qualities that they demonstrate in the game are the qualities that we should each practice and aspire to outside of the game.

hmmm....seems to me that the guys on that list are always in repent's mountain fortreses.

I'm not always in that mod, but I am when there aren't any good scrum games going on that I can join.

It was a great honor playing with you in Repent's Mountain Fortresses! XD But now I can't even step into Repent's mod again :( It is because Repent made great amount of changes and it takes too much time to load. :[

Mountain fortesses is mus=ch shotrter then it is a short load (araound 20 secs depending on connection speed) after it downloads all the new objects.

Great idea for this list. I believe Mystery Man created the first list of this kind several months ago, but since we can't do a simple search on here yet, I know it's like finding a needle in a haystack. Anyway, great idea and list thus far. No objections from me. Here are some more players who deserve to be on this Honor Roll list because they always make the game more fun thanks to their personalities:

44 (Funny when playing well but even funnier when he is stinking up the joint! He also is very creative with his aliases and themes)
TankGirl (Same as above! Always a hoot...especially when she's about to pound her mouse into submission!)
Memphis (the gum chewing, smack talking shizzle...loads of fun and talent)
NUTS! (Very good shooter/scrummer who shares scoring and showers teammates with compliments when deserved)
Chong (Just wanted to see if anyone really reads this stuff!)

Sigh... I've been to the mouintin fortress a lot, if only he knows I'm from ptt.............

Ny left himself out. If it weren't for Ny, the game wouldn't be as fun to play. I especially like going one on one with him. Ny always presents a challenge. I hate it when Ny beats me though!
Ny is very fair and is adaptable to meet the strategies of the other players. Right when you think you have a new strategy to beat Ny, Ny kicks my hind end. In the long run, Ny is the best player.

I have to agree with Ny's list. A few of my own comments (for what it's worth):
Ouch: the best creeper. Pisses me off
Jerr: very fun to play against
Mallhair: keeps getting better and better.
Repent: thx for the mod. Wish you would play more. You use to be the best :-)
Dotz: love your mods. I love to increase my combat ratio in your mods :-)
Hum, :-), lookin4u: Individually awesome. You guys are good as a team too. If the teams are uneven, switch to make it fair. Ganing up on people sucks!

Overall: I use to be able to relax and still kick butt. Competition is getting tougher. Btw, I hate getting ganged up on. Be fair! Remember the tables can turn real easy.

Hopefully that list will be updated! (cough) (cough) (cough)

VERY nice list... I have seen g5, but never have I EVER seen him type, nice to know he is literate. :)
