I was playing Chief's Team Scrum just now and "napalm" joined, and no I'm not whining, but you started team killing me, so I left. My question is, was that really you and if so, what did I do? I know that the possibilities are enormous for some little peabrain to use your name and slander your good name and reputation, so I have kept an open mind about it. In the end, I really don't care. However, I would hate to know that I offended you or broke some rule, being a well-seasoned player and such a large contributor to this site; and I know your opinion goes to lengths here. I can only assume that you either did not see, or get the meaning of my in game text. I don't blame you it is very difficult to feel the meaning of a players comments sometimes. I did acknowledge that I shot my own team member and that I did that by mistake. I'm a little embarrassed as I try to think I'm educated, but sometime find myself in an obvious ( like this one) boneheaded situation.
Doesn't really take much to figure out which team your on which is what is so embarrassing. The upside is that you'll always have good guys on your side to say "Hey stupid you’re shooting your own team!" _{(As all the blood rushes to my face)}
Anyway, to get to the point, I was not impostered, I was scanning the servers looking for good games and did not notice another Napalm playing, and I did scan the servers quite a bit last night. It was me, I am embarrassed, and I do apologize to you for my mistake.
I hope you hold no ill will and I hop e you know I have absolutely no ill feeling towards you. I hope we can play together and you feel comfortable that we can support each other and be a formidable force. On the other hand if you’re on the other team, watch out (nothing personal) just good tough competitive play. Again I'm sorry about that,

That happens to everyone, Napalm. As a matter of fact, I did the same thing last night when MonkeeMan changed me from Red to Blue instead of Green (which I entered the game as!). So, dummy me started smoking any and all Blue tanks that I encountered! I kept seeing alot of question marks in the chat window after every kill, but didn't understand it. So I kept on killing my OWN TEAM!!! I then started getting killed a lot by Green and I started to get ticked off cause I wasn't even smoking! I was wondering what in the world was going on! Why would my own teammates kill me for no reason!!! Hello, McFly!!! I finally looked at the scoreboard and noticed Paisano was BLUE!!!! ACK! I ripped MonkeeMan a new one for doing that to me and he just smiled.... Oh well... My bad.

Maybe there's some Italian color challenged element were just starting to understand. XD

I will have to check the colors more carefully in the future, Maybe TT can have a repetitive speaking message "your blue dummy" every time you shoot one of your own. My bad also.

Actually Napalm, a simple message on screen saying "you just killed a teammate!" wouldn't be a bad idea. I know mercy killings when you're smoking heavily are common, but a small message to remind you, just in case it was unintentional, would be good.

Lord knows, we've ALL been in that kind of embarrassing position.

I get shot by my teammates all the time.

I mean, I'm just toodling around by the goal, just hanging out, and one of teammates is coming right towards me, so I figure they want the old school TT chest bump, so I give them a little love tap, and lo and behold, I have the scrumball, I don't know what to do with it, so I drive towards that green thingy and see that another player wants the old school chest bump (funny their name is a different color than my other teammate) so I give them the love tap and now they have the scrumball, and they drive through the green thingy and the scrumball is gone. Then my teammate says some really mean things and then proceeds to light me up. I don't get it, I'm just trying to be friendly.

I hereby apologize for EVERY single team-kill that I have instigated.... It is because I, how should I say?.. Space out.

I actually have to look at my name on screen several times a game to remind myself which color I am....

Maybe it's just a result from playing too many TT games. Unless you always pick the same color team. I think it gets worse as you jump from server to server as the side are never the equalized.

A similar thing happened to me the other day. I walked into AM/PM and bought a dr. Pepper. But by mistake, I actually filled my glass with mr. Pib. Well, long story short, I threw up on the floor and two customers held me down while the clerk repeatedly kicked me in my nuts. I can't say I didn't have it coming. Cripey, that hurts...but the pain of the embarrasment was much more lasting.

Anyhow, I hope you learned you lesson napalm...team killing is like drinking mr. Pib. Sooner or later, your gonna get kicked in your nuts.
