I think this may have to do with the screen resolution. I use 1260 X 780 ro something like that. Chat works fine. But when in windowed mode the chat is cut off at the bottom. I switch to 800X600 and it works fine. You may want to change your video resolution settings and see if you get the chat.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I am on a mac and I use windowed mode (I have to forget the reasons) I cant chat, well I can but it seems to be at the bottom of the screen because I only get fading outdated chat messages.
HEEELP! Please ;)
