This one kills me. Imagine you're panting to the goal with the scrum and a million rocks pelting you on your backside. You see that you're gonna make it then suddenly you see one of your own team waiting "IN" the goal. When you are just about to enter the goal, he just gingerly steps forward and "BUMPS" the scrum from you and claims a score for himself. I've even had to evade more aggresive ones to reach the goal. This activity is what "CAMPERS" DO!! 8( Why would you want to do it to your own team ?! Everyone deserves their own much deserved credit for their hard eaned points. For me, I don't mind "camping" aka "gaurding" the goal "FOR" your teammates (NOT IN THE GOAL., and w/anything other than a "light tank".) I'll treat this w/the same attention as any other camper! ;)
Thx,

KC

That's where you educate the person, try to see why they did that. If they just act like that, you can prepare yourself for the next time. If your admin, bump him, or your self to the other team so your against him, and not with him. If he continues to take from his teammates, that's where the trusty /ban comes in.

That happens all the time in team scrum in the fast pasted games. That happens several times a night. It's usually a mistake, or misjudgement by a teammate. I have done the same to others as well, but if it is a mistake, it's usually followed by a "sry" or "mybad." That all depends on the player.

Agreed I've been taking things case by case, because I don't want to act rashly ie: like an ogre. I just want to post things as they occur in order to bring attention to the problem so hopefully the offender/future offenders/admins can see it too. Just want to discourage the behavior on the widest scale available, while attending to the matter on site when possible.

But this may also happen because.............

1. He/She may think your gonna die so takes the scrum off you to score for the TEAM
2. I Have taken off people before and given to people because either I thought I was going to die, I dont mind because its a team game, Even If I finish with 0 points, Which is never. I dont mind because I helped my team

[off topic: Seriously some of my best games I had 0 points...]

You just said yourself you were almost dead so #1 is most likely the answer.

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, as long as it's a team game, and he scores it, then it's all good B)

Yeah I don't like "isms" either :P Anyway, I'm still learning ehh? I just want the kids to have fun w/out someone ruining it. For example, a kid might want to get his own work done. That's important, however maybe the "team" effort you all talked about is the case (usually). Then again, maybe someone just does'nt want to work that hard and let the team do all the work.
Well, thanks for giving me some things to think about. That's why I like to post stuff, so "I" can learn too. This will help me to become a better "host".
I will continue to host w/discernment. Thx again. :)

@ All,

Thank you Nap, and all for your help in the situation. Like I said, I'm new at hosting, and only have my own thoughts on things until I ask, which is why I like the forums. I'm not into "I" as "someone" said, but against it. That's what prompted this thread. I thought( note: past tense) one way on this matter due to lack of experience(hosting period) and have learned plenty from the replies I've recieved here. I always accept these and put them to work. Nap and Pedro helped by showing that there ARE "variables" to consider in matters such as this. All the rest of you have to realize my motives and intentions better. :S

Thx,

KC

Once again, another who doesn't know how to help.
Do you people ever read all of the posts, before you open your mouth?
Try giving some assistance like Nap did, or don't bother "contributing" here!
