Scanner
Purpose
Definitionit gives you the exact image that is copied from the glass digital image---the image is recognized by the scanner software
What it actually does
Scans as a picture
Scan as document

Procedure
a.first steps
b.place the photograph on the scanner glass
c.log into the computer as you
d.use the scanner icon on the desktop
e.click on the scanner icon
f.desktop of the scanner program
g.there you will see everything that has been scanned in the last couple of days
h.left column see a scan button above is a txt window make sure it is on photograph
i.click the scan button
j.the scan window will come into view
k.beneath it are 3 buttons
l.preview does not actually scan but shows you what will be scanned
m.san actually scans
n.autoscan scan and take your back to the scanner desktop
o.after you have scanned you can manipulate the pictre
p.crop at this pint you can lighten it etc
q.back the scanner desktop beneath you have the icons for the following programs
r.photoshop
s.word
t.paint
u.drag to photoshop and save as a JPEG
v.

And about the computer I got a blue screen of death and the computer fixed itself! Amazing I think... I got xp anyone konw why?

I use XP and Blue Screen of comes up once in a while...BUT when I leave for a while my computer ends up fixing itself and I keep getting viruses and spyware! WHO IS SENDING IT ALL?!?! (sorry o.o)
