Oh... Wow. OMG.
What do they get out of it? Power. They think that if they do something to "control" people or make them feel sad will make them feel more important, powerful, or better than everyone else. Same thing with the imposters on TT.

Well it is a Shame to have people like that living in our own neighborhoods doing things like that to our schools and the kids

Why is school bad? I like learning new things, that's why I am so good at spelling. (Of course I homeschool though)
Firefly... I hated school when I was a kid too.... Then in High School I realized just how lucky we are to be able to get a good education.... School is incredibly important... Be patient with it, you will realize some day that your education is the most important thing in your ability to live in society. School is not as fun as playing games, or hanging out with your friends, but your REALLY don't want to be flipping burgers for minimum wage when you grow up.
As a parent, I have grown to love school. I get to experience the wonders of the world through my six year olds eyes just about every day. My son comes home with new words, new talents, and new understandings of the world around him... It is truly magical.
It makes me sick that someone would burn a school. Schools are already horribly underfunded, teachers are grossly underpaid, and to have some jerk destroy all of the hard work of the teachers and kids is just sickening. If I lived near that school, I would have been one of the parents standing at the gate, waiting to see if I could help in any way.

I STILL HATE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont need the BullS**** from teachers. Am going to be an actor whan I grow up I'll have the money I want and be FAMUS :P :P
It's not that easy,scouts are looking for people that excel in arts,as in painting etc etc.
So,being less smart as a cat,and you might as well go flip burgers now.
Also,actors do NOT have all the money they want,only a very few good actors get that privilege,and the rest? You might as well become a lawyer or doctor.

Btw the school have just had an insurance asessment the damage has been totalled so far to 1/4 of a million pounds and still rising. Definately an expensive 5 minute thrill

I just thought id share with you all the horror our community went through this weekend. Its heartbreaking to see what devestation this caused the 320 kids that attended this school.Just 2 weeks before the christmas holidays they were all prepared for nativity plays , christmas parties ,trips to see father christmas but now all has been ruined through 1 or 2 sick individuals. What do they get out of doing this?

Pupils were today told to stay at home until the New Year after their school was severely damaged in a suspected arson attack. Flames ripped through classrooms at New Ford Primary, in Stoke-On-Trent , completely melting an outside wall and destroying a nursery unit.
The school hall and three other classrooms were also extensively damaged during the fire at about 5.10pm on Saturday.
Experts were today assessing the impact of the fire and part of the school may need rebuilding. The cost of the damage has yet to be assessed.
The worst affected areas are used by three- to six-year-olds and some youngsters burst into tears after hearing about the damage.
Parents also turned up at the school gates, volunteering to help with the clean-up.
Headteacher Kate Quick said:
"Everywhere is completely blackened.
It??s awful. There is no way we can open the school again before Christmas. How can you put a cost on something like this? It??s all the things we've lost. We had the costumes hanging up for the Christmas play, for instance, and now there are just wire coat-hangers with nothing on them.
Pupils were also worried about the school goldfish, which were being kept in one of the rooms damaged by fire.
But staff managed to recover the pets on Saturday night and they survived.
Fire investigators believe the blaze started near the nursery and then spread to the centre of the school.
Kelvin Knapper, the fire service incident commander, said: "There was a severe fire centred around the school hall and several classrooms.
They managed to bring the fire under control in half-an-hour, although the whole building was heavily smokelogged.
Police have confirmed they are treating the incident as suspicious and have been speaking to the public.
The school in Brownley Road which dates back to the 1960s ?? Had only just had a £500,000 refurbishment.
Dont people realise the heartbreak this causes to kids and teachers with years and years of work destroyed through some sick Bastards 5 minutes of fun. It makes it worse as it was a school all my family have attended and my youngest still attends and also my workplace. So for all these kids and staff christmas holidays have come early but at an extreme cost for all
