Well some TT'er has sent me money, I kinda forgot his name 8o.
But its around $200 dollars and it was sent to my earthlink account instead of my pay pal account.
So I'm trying to figure out how to either get it to my pay pal email, or just get the check.
I have to confirm that I want the money in the next four days or else it will be declined!
Could some one please help me get this done...Its very important since my tuition payment is due in the next month, so the first person who can help me (if its possible) get this to my pay pal account I'll send them at least $20.

Thats four days! Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssse help me out!

Is this a variation on the Nigerian spam?

I use PayPal a lot to send and receive payments and I can tell you that much: your question is not quite clear. So you have a PayPal account but received the money to the wrong address right? Why not open a second account to then claim the money? You could either withdraw the $ to your back account, or send it yet again to your good PP account (will cost you $6 or so).

What is this 'I kinda forgot his name'? You have to be able to talk to or email this person.

Also if some money is going 'unclaimed' it will be returned to the sender.

You can also contact the sender and ask him/her to cancel her payment (and then subsequently send you another one to the good email).

You can also do a 'Request Money' to request a payment... Send a request money to your friend,

Email customer service is 24h to 36h. With a phone you'll solve your thing within an hour.

Its been about 4 months or so since he said he'd give me the money, and he didnt give me his email.
I dont know how to contact him sonce (1) I dont know if he has a PTT account so that I can talk to him or get his email address.
(2) he might be going under some alias and now I cannot contact him.

Lemme give you a clearer story.
Lets say this guy's name is joe...
So joe says that he can give me $100-sumthin' dollars for helping him out.
I dont have a paypal account yet, so I tell him to send it to my earthlink account.
3 months later he sends the money request.
The email says:
1.) Buisiness Information
2.) Buisiness:
3.) Contact email:
4.) Message:
5.) Date:
and at the end it says:
If we do not get the confirmation within 5 business days, your account
will be suspended until further notice.

And above that it says:
To confirm or decline this transaction, please follow the link provide
below, Please save the fraud alert id for your reference.
(and then theres a link)

so I get the account, now what?
Is this even possible to do without spending money?

Seriously are you sure this is not a spam? ZEspecially when they say
"If we do not get the confirmation within 5 business days, your account will be suspended until further notice"
This is typical spam lingo.

Feel free to forward the email to me (hugobrain at shaw. Ca). I get 2-5 spoofy paypal spams a day.

Also did you receive a 'Money Request' or a NIP (Notification of Instant Payment'? Because you write: '3 months later he sends the money request.' If it's a money request well... He wants YOUR money pal lol!

I'm not so stupid as to send you the email and give all the info away.
But I'll just use my credit card to get the money there.

Internet rule of thumb #1: If someone asks for money in order for them to give you more money back, then you are being scammed.
