Wow. Intel chips, Dell boxes, and MacOS... Think Different!
I wonder if Apple would be willing to try licensing again... It didn't work out too well the last time. Also, what kind of price point could Dell offer for a clone system? Lots of variables, but interesting...
Well the point is, this would cut into Microsoft's hold on PC's deeply. Being an avid Bill Gates loather, I am happy XD !!!!

Yeah but Dell said he would sell Dell 'puters with OSX on them if he could get licensing for it.
PC is actually an abbreviation for Personal Computer. Apple makes personal computers, and so do Dell, IBM, and many others. DJ's statement actually shows how much Gates' company has unfairly dominated the computer market.
The term PC lost its original meaning due to unfair business practices that caused computer manufacturers to exclusively license to Microsoft. Companies were not allowed to use more than one OS, and Microsoft made deals that coerced manufacturers into using Windows. Their OS became dominant. Microsoft does not make computers. They make money by licensing their OS to computer makers, and by licensing other software too.
Jimmy's point is that this development would weaken Gates' company by allowing one of his best customers to make personal computers that run on a different OS than Windows. Dell is one of the top in sales, too.
