For those of you who arent mouse fans, here is a windows program to use any windows compatible joystick as a mouse. I like my mouse but I thought maybe some of u would like this.

U can also program the joystick to move turret and shoot AND also to drive but it isnt very efficient. I wrote a c++ program that utilizes the windows api to "trap" the events BEFORE they are sent to TT...so when I would move the d-pad it would send the arrow key commands to TT, etc....problem is that precision just isnt there....VERY tricky...

There are programs that can emulate keyboards, mice, joysticks, etc and do about anything...problem is that they are easy to use and offer no "tweakability" need PRECISE tweaking for TT. (still isnt accurate even when I code it myself)

I know nothing about torque or TT scripting really...i think the TGE that TT uses does not support joysticks...didnt try

Instead I did some directinput coding....blows the game up...dont try this at home....i am learning DX9 as we speak...stay tuned...(also have several games I will post sometime for u guys to test)

My goal is to use a d-pad on a gamepad joystick to drive with my left hand and use my new mouse to aim and shoot with my right hand, and keep the keyboard in the middle for chat....already have macros for chat commands and such...can also do this in TT scripts....

Windows scripting is messy and doesnt work well with TT...dont know about applescript or anything non-windows....

Question?? Ever notice tankers who can dam near stop on a dime...really sucks in BM when they can switch directions so quick and avoid all your shots......this baffles me...something to do with the nostromo?? Please let me know how this is done...

The only thing I havent done is a dump on the compiled TT scripts (client side) to see what is really there....this really isnt something I will ever share with anyone as I dont wanna piss off bravetree.

That is about the extent of things on a pc that I can think of...there are plenty of things I dont know...
