Yay!, finally a good team scrum server?

More servers can't be never too bad. It's nice to see that theres more Scrum, Team Scrum servers. Where you can hop in and play. And big plus for it's rather low ping. :)

Earlier you were asking about scripts for hosting scrum. Here is Slugthog's Out of Bounds script which many of us think is an excellent addition to the game. Sluggy has made this available to anyone who wants to host.

It is called "Antidiver.cs.dso". Despite the name, this script only affects the position of the scrum spawn after it goes out of bounds (i.e. Over the edge of a cliff) for any reason. It causes the scrum to spawn at the center of all alive players. It does not change where your tank will spawn or your health or ammo or anything else. This was used in the PsychoScrum servers for a couple of seasons and is well tested.

OutOfBounds Script

Installation:

Unzip the file and place the Antidiver.cs.dso file in the Contents/Resources/Game/Server/Scripts folder of the TT application you are using to host. Then add the following line to the end of your main.cs file:

Exec("game/server/scripts/Antidiver.cs");

Okay:

A couple of things:

#1 - This server is intended to be a safe refuge from the trolls, campers, etc., (you all know who you are) and an alternative to the other "private" servers. I don't have a problem with any of the aforementioned playing there as long as they: A) Play nicely - i.e. Are good sports and B ) don't act like an ass. If you are caught doing A or B - you're kicked. If you come back and do it again, you're banned. Change your IP all you want to - as I see it change I will change the banlist. If one of the admins bans you, don't come crying to me. I trusted them enough to give it to them - I trust their judgement. I am not going to advertise who they are. Oh, by the way - if someone I don't know asks to be admin, they're being an A and B.

#2 - I removed the weapons codes, etc so that "even" games can take place. If anyone credible has an issue with this, please let me know.

^ I think we need to change the code ? Can not remember who but will get name(pdiddyseal), was causing havoc in there yesterday with the silly codes. Thanks for taking them out ! B)

There are four others - I would like to refrain from naming them as I don't want to see them being hammered with "can I be admin?" questions.

I will email them to you though.

Incidentally, ALL the codes are gone....however, I left the admin codes in place.
