I'm trying to run a "clean" server w/out idiots ruining it for anyone, especially kids(I'm not a kid, but enjoy providing them w/some clean fun) and am going to publicize ALL names on this forum that belong to those who enjoy acting like idiots. The object is of course to give everyone who enjoys fairplay to know and have warning about these doorknobs.

For all I know, this maybe chong.
Who ever it is, he posed as a kid by talking grade school trash. I warned him about it and then he comes up w/F*** and so on. Then starts insulting everyone else. I want to leave my server open, but don't want to "babysit" in order to spare the others all the time. I know there are codes and I'm doing what I can to learn them as fast as I can. I'm new though, so I don't know how long that will take. At some point I will MOD and then ONLY those invited(namely those who behave) will be there.IE: anyone DECENT etc. Codes/Passwords etc. Will be the way it will go then.

Please let me know what I can do, like "how" to use the codes etc.
I have a TT folder. I got this game through "Garage Games".

KC calm down. The admin is YOU. Do you like it if I come into your server and I am automatically an admin messing with all that power? No. The admin is YOU. These people that come to your server can't be admin until you tell them to be admin.

But moderators and admins here can ban that punk in PTT. ;)

Well...I'm a little passionate about this kinda stuff. I stopped playing on the public servers for a LONG time because of doorknobs. I purchased the game to "enjoy" the fun, but wouldn't ya know it, there had to be some who would try to have their own fun @my expence. As an outlet for their aggression. Like I said, this is a place where kids come and I heard what happened to Lovely by chong. Anyway, nuff said, I thank ya for talkin to me, and thx for the vent. Cya out there Zeb B)

PS. I wasn't actually asking any admins to come and fix it, only to know that I would be posting "insidents" as they occur for the record. I see the changes happening as far as less tolorence for stupidness is concerned, and that's why I came back. I just want to encourage more of that by the whole community. I know I will have to admin my own server, but need time to do it. I'm doing what I can to expedite that process. I consider you a "good" player and fair one at that. Thx for any of your input! XD

Ok you have to remember this is a game. Kids are ment to play a game on the internet. I know what you mean. There are some kids out there that are disrupting our games. I belive the kids such as Chong and tanty ect... Have been disrupting our games because of there outside life of thinktanks. I dont want to get into all the problems a kid might have outside of the "thinktank" life but do remember, kids are entertained by games like this. B)

KC your right admins or software changes can't do this alone all of us have play apart in this. By the way when you get your serve up and going put me on the list of players for the first game.

I tend to agree with Cloud. These troublemakers are obviously seeking attention to themselves for one reason or another. And most likely it's because of either abuse somewhere in their lives, or a lack of attention from those who are supposed to love them. Take Tanty for example...When I first started playing TT my first reaction to him was to fight back both with words and my tank. He seemed to thrive on that, so I quit fighting back. Now I just leave the game or ignore him. If these kids quit getting the reaction they are seeking, then I think many of them will just quit playing and start seeking attention elsewhere.

Even negative attention is attention. So yeah, just stop giving them what they crave and so utterly lack in their real lives, and they'll quickly get bored and move on.

Give me a ring. I can help you lock down your server and install a nice meaty ban list. Please realize unless the offenders are on the ban list, they will have to enter your server at least once for you to be able to get their IP and ban them after the fact.

I'll do some modding at some point, but have to learn a bit more. I'm learning about the files right now, and will start getting into "editing" hopefully soon. I'll let you know.

I've started "really" modding now, but it's going to be a gradual process on a count of being "NEW" at it. I'm not going to have an "open date", just going to leave it open while I gradually "figure out and add things". :)

PS I might lock it once in a while for some testing etc.
