Just wanted to see who you idolized when you wer little or now

When I was little I idolized the coolest superheroes,like Shazam and batman. Man they were awesome!!

Well I had several people I idolized as a young lad.

From like the ages 5 to 10 I idolized Sonic Hedgehog. Cause I wanted to be amazingly fast like him.

From about 10 to 17 (my current age) I've idolized and will always idolize David Beckham and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Both are top soccer players that played and currently play for my favorite team. I want to be just like either one of them one day.

Spiderman; because it was usually his ability to think that got him out of trouble, and the brother had issues. Batman was also enjoyable because he was seriously jaded as well as smart.

My real life idol in my formative years was Reggie White, brother would lay the smack down on the football field and then help them up. He was a bad-a$$ preacher. I also looked up to Walter Payton because he was such a humble person even though he had some serious skills. He wasn't a big talker, he just loved to play the game. I think I love scrum and team scrum so much because it reminds me of the glory days of football. You can block, lay somebody out, make a sweet juke, I love this game!

I don't necessarily "idolize" anyone, but my mentor, Karl, at my Church is close to that. Karl seems like an adult version of me; we both have the same interests, we have the same sense of humor, we like doing the same things etc. I think that if Karl would be a little more outgoing, then yes, he would be my idol.

Spock and then Captain Kirk when I figured out he was getting all the trim.
