Having trouble with all of the enemies always sticking to your tail? This easy (but cheap) tactic will have them killing themselves.
Heres what to do...
First, download ModWIz or script this in yourself if you think your all that, find a level (or...make one) that has a cliff side that your able to drive along the side of fairly easily.
Next, place a boost pad aiming inwards (or towards the center of the lands) on the side of the cliff.
Keeping your enemies at a fair distance( far enough that you can stop without them raming into you) drive on an angle down the side of the cliff that you placed the boost pad (make sure you dont hit the boost pad right away, just drive along the side of the cliff so that you can hit the boost pad after about 2 seconds of driving)
Now, your enemies will of course follow you with the odd newcommer falling right off the cliff, the rest will stay on your tail along side of the cliff, now when you get close enough to the boost pad on the side of the cliff, sharply turn so that you hit the boost pad launching yourself into the air all the way to either the middle or other side of the land leaving your enemies confused and falling off the cliff!
I may not have described it that well but this is what I do if your enemies keep on your tail all game.
NOTES: Make sure you know exactly where the boost is so you know when to go down the side of the cliff to give yourself some space before boosting yourself away
Add a few of these all over the land and once again remember where everything is, that way you have easy access to a get away wherever you are.
Try making the boost pad one of the random boosts, this way once you hit the boost pad, if your enemies are smart enough to follow you to the boost pad, they'll get boosted in a different direction sending them off the cliff :)
Don't fall off the cliff yourself!
(Very usfull in scrum if you have the ball, especially if you know where the scrum goal is, you can place the boost pads at such a location that they launch you right into the goal!
