You may know I live very near the US / Canada border. That makes things interesting from time to time. Just yesterday we had a wild event because some fugitives were trying to escape into Canada.

Here's the story

Anyone else have some interesting stories of living on an International border?

(Please, don't use this as an opportunity to complain about illegal immigrants, people from other countries, and all that. That's not what I had in mind. Thank you.)

Jacob, I may recall hearing some of that. It seems that drugs are a big border problem both North and South... That's very bad stuff. Yikes.

Hey lgm, is that the border near sumas? That is my favorite...drive by the cows and all that...never much of a wait.

No, it's the I-5 main crossing. I like Sumas better too. Little wait, and great if you're heading east.

I remember when "back in the day" going to Canada was no big deal. I used to cross almost every weekend to enjoy their excellent beer and even more excellent drinking age. Now, as a truck driver, crossing the border is a nightmare. TT helps alot with travel frustration. I'm looking into having a cannon mounted...

Hey fish, do you cross at the 1-5 border in Blaine?

I can't believe the lines going into and out of Canada for you truckers. Sometimes the wait must be hours. I see the line stretching from the border back a loooooooong way. If you only could play TT in line...

Well my city is the "Gateway City." we have the most international import/export.

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

A couple years ago, I worked for a furniture company that had a store in Toronto, and I would have to go there twice a week via rt90 to QWE. Once, our broker made some clerical mistake and my truck was stuck in customs for 26 hrs. The only way they would let me cross was if I destroyed a case of linen placemats from China. I had to cut them into tiny pieces in front of a customs agent. Even the agents thought it was silly and we were all laughing about it.
My current job doesn't take me to Canada very often, thankfully. If I did play TT on the road, while getting paid, would that make me a professional TTer? B)
