Aly,
Our differance's aside, That is really bad.
I would be very glad to help you learn how to clean up your skins and to show you how to use gimp if you care to.
I admire people who try to skin because it is not the easiest thing to learn. I have been doing it over a year now and still my skins are not near what others are,
Like SawBones for example, she has many years of learning the programs to use for skinning. But if no one takes the time to start you off right and explain some features to begin with you will make alot of this same type of skin before you really make one that is at the bigger level. Alot of people will say practice makes perfect but in skinning there is never perfection, just satifaction. Again I would be glad to help you in anyway to learn the gimp program as it is free and is an awesome program for skinning.
Ok my ears are open GQ. And dude I have nothing against u so I dunno what the whole. "are differences aside" thing was.

Well for one stop calling me dude, I never understood guys calling a girl dude. But anyways first thing to do is go here..
http://www.gimp.org/
And dowload gimp 2.2.13 version. The download is in the left colum of this page, make sure you get which ever one is for your comp. If you have windows use the auto installer. After you install gimp go here and read these things.

After that we will continue on.

These also might come in handy.
I have a ton of Gimp-fu advice, but it's too much to put in one post. Email me and I'll give you some more hints.
EDIT: For starters, open the whole blank tank file (light, med, or heavy) in Gimp, then copy and paste it (hit Ctrl+A first)
. Click on the New Layer
button in the Layers, Channels and Paths thingy, and change where it says "Normal"
to "Multiply"
. Then, wipe the Background layer (click it, then the trash can), and make a new layer (TRANSPARENT), dragging and dropping it below the other layer. Save it as Tank01_blank.xcf.
If you did all this, now you have a blank template you can use. Doodle on the transparent layer (DON'T SAVE IT), and you'll notice it's cropped.
