I borrowed a few elements from Red Pulse (the equalizer bars). And I got plenty of inspiration from This Song Remix .

Nobody cares about my skins when I post them in my main thread, so I have to create a new one for this skin to grab attention.

Nice! B) I like the equalizer bars and the grid on the turret.

I have a feeling that this skin will get pushed aside by all the noob skins, just like the rest of mine.

I use a version of HankstaTanksta's Checkered brain for all my skin. I tinted the color of it a slight blue. It seems to look really good with all of my skins.

Intense skin man! The detail is amazing, and the way it just all fits together...sweet. Lol and you got nothing to worry about from the noob skinners out there *points to myself* :P

...but I feel your pain too. Seems a new phenomenon is at work lately. Good skins are ignored so the noobs can praise or insult their own crap. It also seems like they're skin junkies, always wanting the next fix without ever appreciating the work that goes into a really good skin.

The trick is to do them for yourself. If you want those jokers to validate you, you'll never get it.

Indeed. If you skin for approval from the masses, you will always be disappointed. But from the literati you receive the acclamation you are properly due.

This is a very nice skin - very well balanced and meshed. It's not flashy or colorful, but it doesn't have to be. If I remember the skin ranking system correctly: B7

Nah... I design the skins for everyone else, then I make them for myself. I just wanted some feedback on it. :)

I barely had time for my last skin and I wish I could join in on the competition, however, time is obviously a factor, and if I can squeeze in the time, then I will be a last minute entry.

I always am viewing the skins forum... I just never say anything...
