I don't know if you guys have seen this. Its not an action game like TT but I played it with my son for the first time last night and thought it was fun. Tribal Trouble I don't know enough about games to know if its original or not. Its nothing like thinktanks but enjoyable anyway

I kicked around the demo for a bit, but found few takers here. Did you purchase?

I beleive NUTS posted this 2 or 3 months back. He also said it was a pretty good game.

I bought 2 licenses one for me and son. I've played a little. Mb on the torque part I assumed it was torque when I say the GG splash screen but didn't dig deeper.

You play that one NUTS?
I registered and played as carbuncle. Its a nice change to play something thats not so sensitive to network connectivity

Repetitve is the best word for it. Campaign mode lasted for a day, and multiplayer games get very monotonous. The only thing that salvages it a little bit is the random terrain generation for every game. Good game...not worth the money in my opinion.

^Campaign mode is solo mode. Not online.

Online experience I've had isn't good. For some reason the chat has a floating window that blocks your vision of the playing field. The chat box just feels clunky and overdone. It's a real problem trying to comminicate with other players.

Offline I love it!

Sorry nothing compares to TT!!!

@ All,

I noticed on the forums that there is a Destroyer causing havoc there, so much so he has been accused of being a cheat. Now this sounds like the same Destroyer causing havoc here. I could be mistaken, as I have been in the past, but there are so many similarities.

You be there judge. LOL!! :)

^ Lol that's a whack argument

@NUTS

Kick you arse in that too, hyphen boy

What did u mean by that??

@ KBC - I hope you realize you can close the chat window by clickin' on the X. You can still read chat if the box is not open, but if you want to talk back you must open it. There are many keyboard shortcuts for that game which save me loads of time when playing.

Hum.... The demo's pretty fun to play with, illprobably get the full soon when I get some money.

Yeah I played some more this weekend. I like it. I suck but I like it. Its a strategy game, juggling up to 200 ai's making sure
you've got enough wood, iron, rock, and chickens (chicken warriors rock the mike). Throttling your enemys supply lines and access to resources. Defending, attacking. And the best strategy really depends on where you land initially on the island.
Terrain features and taking advantage of them is important. It's very unlike Think Tanks not in competition with it at all. Don't expect it to scratch the thinktanks itch it never will But I still give it 4 snaps in z formation.

NEVA, I saw you on once. I was a guest though...still am. Gonna get full game when I finish science project. :)

Who says I can't be 12 and faster than all of you?

@dashy
If I do play its normally me vs the boy. He normally wins, I am to busy looking for a tank or a scrum. Havn't had to much time to play much of anything as of late. The world domination plan is starting to pick up steam......

I ve got the full version now, I quite like it. I have been playing it all afternoon (in my vacation), and I finished the viking tutorial.
I ve only played one game online, and I think it is going to be my last for a while. LOL it was at the fastest level and [euhmmm] the guys beated the shit out of me, especially when my allie left :[. I thought that I started quite good, I builded a load of towers but they all ended up like Ground Zero, nothing except an army of the powerful enemie with like 30 chicken warriors and 50 iron/rock warriors waiting outside.

That is my story, I m going to train some more in single player. Although I liked it, I might have lost [pretty hard ;)] but I did enjoy it.

Any other stories/experiences?

Scythe
PS: my online name is (how could you know...) Iron_Harrier

EDIT: sorry for the bump
