^ You really shouldn't have anything else running while playing TT, makes it laggy for the rest of us.
Regardless of that, I say full screen is better. Why? I only want to see, smell, taste, feel, and hear TT when I'm playing TT, not anything else. When I get on TT, it's to blow up tanks and score goals, hence I don't need nor want anything else while doing it, hence the full screen. ;)
Full, cause in Windowed you don't get the.... True effect.

Yes you do get full-screen on windows and half screen I keep mine on full-screen and no other programs running if I keep other programs running TT would lag up. :o
My desktop is at 1280x1024 and I play TT in windowed mode at 1024x768, so you do the math an figure out what fraction of the screen that is :P

Full widescreen all the way! Suffice it to say, it looks very nice at 1680x1050. In addition, it also helps for better targeting. ;)

I go without full screen. I like the look of it better that way. I also don't use 32 bit color. The less I tax the video card, the better the performance seems to be.
On my slow laptop, I even lower the size and use low level of detail.
Mmm games rarely look actually good. You just get so "in" in the game world that the looks becomes secondary thing. I just play on windowed anymore. Plus it easy to do multiple things on same time and smaller screen reduces the area you need to focus on making your reactions easier and faster. Oh and the graphic quality is better. Smaller makes it less well blurry or sth.

^^^^ and everyone...you can also just press alt enter in the middle of the game and it will switch from full screen to half screen.
Lol, I didn't even know there was a half screen option till very recently when my TT messed up and auto half screened on me XD

But in Wars I go all Out...... Full and did u guys know that I hooked my computer up to a projector and play on a 72" screen on the wall!!!! :) Its.... Sik!!! ;)
On my old G4 iMac, I played half screen with low graphic settings. On the new 24" iMac, its full screen all the time.
On my gaming PC I always play at 1280 x 1024, full screen, high detail on my DVI connected 17" LCD. Runs at 300 FPS.

I keep mine at half screen, because then I can also go on PTT, or the web, talk to my freinds on AIM...or do any other stuff...and I think its less laggy.
