Actually, I remember getting my foot stuck in the craw of the "Hands off" appletree, owned by Mr. Judd. Yeah, that's right. I had to wait for him to return home, before I could get out. I had to "stand" helpless, while watching my "friends" abandon me one by one. No one, but his laughing sons could get me out. He not only keeped us kids at bay w/his "shotgun", but his German Shepherd, "King" didn't help his repoir either. Lol, all the "stories" didn't amount to much after that incident though. He he, Ol' Mr. Judd didn't shoot me, his sons didn't beat me up, and his dog was alright too. Who knew that a lil kid and an apple tree could make a neighborhood feel safe again. ;)
