Sorry for not answering any emails or post here on PTT. I have been very sick since this past Wed. Night.So please bare with me all ! I have a very improtant billards tournament coming this week. In fact I leave Wed. Morning and will be gone until 3/21/05. So for now my health is more important to me then anything else, besides I don't want to get my granddaughter sick.
So I will answer all emails and comments when I return. Thanks for understanding !

I'm sure LW will be jonesing for a few good games when he gets back. It's kinda bad news for you guys though (Vicious, Chong, Cadc, etc) because he actually is better when he hasn't played for a while.

Well, having one of the most flexable and able bodied group of players in the game. For some reason you decide to conjur up some strange rules for having so. Look who you guys withhold. There no other elite players to obtain. All of TT's is at your feet. What is it that you are trying to prove, Soroman?
Given your circumstance, you have no reason to have set values, and let alone set specific rules regarding game-play on how you are gonig to run your buisness. Just play.

It is precisely because we have such a large group that such a rule has been set...everyone gets a chance to participate.
As far as proving anything - I don't think there's anything left to prove. I think what LW is trying to say is: "We're on top - come knock us off."
Why don't you team up with another small army and challenge us? I keep hearing all of this talk about "we're gonna knock off UF" but it never happens. Maybe if you all team up you can have a shot. I am pretty sure I speak for everyone in UF when I say this.

Chief is exactly right. We want to make sure every member has the chance to get involved. Taking every 3 vs 3 challenge that shows up at our door (and you are not the first) is the not way to accomplish that.
Our other thought is this - if you are an army you should have more that 3 members that can play. If you can ONLY field a team of 3 than what's the point? I mean, even the leagues team fields of 4 and 5. If that's all you can field then, in our opinion, you are NOT an army.
Let us know when you can get at least 6 onto a server of some kind.

The excuse of player participation with in your group is completely irrational. Lets face it, your "army" consists of more then
20+ players. Meaning, no matter how the process gets coordinated. More players are going to play more then others, it's just inevitable. Esspeically of how the UF "army" is fluxuated. By putting the army members into the specific game-type's, dependant on what the player within the group is strongest in.<- Which is resonable I guess. But not if you are going to argue player participation.

Do you honestly think anyone would participate in the PS leagues if each game consisted of 14 players a game.

If you are our enemy and we do battle, we will not be bringing three people because you only have three people. If you are an army with only three people I suggest you go fight one of the smaller clans.

Who said 3 or 5 months??? Who said 9 games??? We used our new war format against EX and got everything done in 1 weekend. It's only nine games if you win and trust me, you aren't going to win.

This is either total rubbish or you just learned how to use a thesaurus. The deal is, if you want to dethrown the champs then you have to play by their rules. That is how it's always been. So, if we're using our superiority to get people to use this new format, then so be it. As champs, we can distribute any scenario we want...

Taunting us isn't going to change our minds. You are correct in the fact that these discussions tend to take on a tone of condescension - this is because we aren't the ones with something to prove. I allude to my previous post for a small insight as to my thoughts surrounding this. I'm not even going to get into the number of weekends UF members have taken time to show up for a battle / war with other armies, only to have them not show up.
As I suggested above: team up with DAS & EX? Regardless, bring 7 and you have a deal.
Incidentally: 7, 6, & 7 (assuming you have read and remember LW's post above) actually totals......20. Amazingly enough, this also happens to be the sum of the UF membership.
We didn't just pull this rule out of our a**....a lot of thought was given to it, as Sil stated above.

I guess what I am trying to saying here is, " We may be a Army but we are not one of them Armies that hold grudges ! " Thats not what UF is about. Yes we are respected by most every one but we are also looked up to by others. They look to us to see if this is the right way to act or run a army(these are just a few examples ) ! Let me remind you all of this rule,

I am still investigating this matter ! Once I have more info I will fill you all in ! I can tell you all though the nasty comments were not made by a UF member. Some one in this army though seems to have a problem with this person though. I am all ears if some wants to talk via email with me that is fine. It will stay between you and me. One way or another though I will find out who this person is though. If you come to me now via email, we can work this out and move on from this but if I have to come to you once I find out who this is, I will make it public not to mention you could be voted out of UF !
So please come to me if you know who you are via email so we can work through this and move on (this is the only way this stay private, if I have to come to you it will go public). B)
So the person who did this directly to him isn't in UF. But someone in UF like..told someone to do this. What if it was an imposter how would you know the difference? Also lone, can you use your moderating powers to change the title of threads?

For all UFs, these are the rules for joining.
To join you must be invited by Officer(any elected official) only !
YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF IF YOU ASK. YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF IF YOU DON'T ASK. YOU MAY NOT JOIN UF.
IF WE WANT YOU, WE WILL ASK ! Once that has happened then we put it to the members to vote on !

Lets go over this again, for anyone and everyone:
1. If someone asks you to join IMMEDIATELY (I mean right there) - its not UF.
2. If someone asks you in the middle of the game - its likely not UF.
3. If there is NO email involved, no IM involved, and no other verification involved - its NOT UF.
There is very few people that get approached - very few people that EVER get an invitation - and its NEVER an immediate thing as we all VOTE on all incoming members. Even if you get it - there is still more waiting.
This should help clear up the garbage "asks" out there

2. We never want to kick anyone ouf of UF, but occasionally an event arises where we must act. Notices will be sent
by UF Enforcer, following officer's vote on action or complaint. The UF Enforcer is the voice of the majority vote of
the officers; the UF Enforcer is independant monitor of all UF disiplinary action. The office of Enforcer is only here
to do the biding of the people. If you have a problem with ANYONE, email the UF Enforcer.
3. UF will emphasize good sportsmanship, maintain honor, and display good attitude inside TT chat and in PTT
forums. This includes, but is not limited to:
No Fighting not with UF, not with other players.
No Swearing If caught you will be notified by the Enforcer. You could be fired pending officer's vote.
No Disrespect You must all ways treat your Leaders with Respect. Not saying you must kiss our butts.
Just treat us the same way you expect us to treat you.
No Impostering Any UF member caught team killing, or impersonating another TT member will be
released immediately.
No Lying You will be asked to leave.
No Other Alliances You can only be in UF ! No other armies (leagues do not count)! Breaking this rule will be
grounds for being asked to leave !
No Return If you have left UF for any reason, you will not be allowed to return without a full team vote.
4. You must all ways have UF in your name. Permissions and acceptions to this rule may be obtained by member
vote. Grandfathering applies if you have had previous permission.
5. No army may challenge UF after it has lost to us for 3 months.
People who may never join: SPERM, UFO SEAL, MONCKY, DESTROYER and -V- aka FireFly,JoePBx/DAS/XT/EE, Gee-joe
ARMIES that are Allies of UF :
1. NONE !
PEOPLE who are Allies of UF but not in UF(special conditions must not be in any armies)

Armies waiting to go to War with UF, in no order of "Who's Next ? " And UF terms of a Challenge.
Battles(meaning 1 event) verses Wars (meaning a race to 2 in TS,CTF & TBM & the first Army o win 2 out of the 3 events wins the war)
If your Army is considered in the Top 5 Armies, then UF will only do Wars with you.
If you are not in the top 5 Armies then yes UF will do a single Battle with you.
