Page : <1> :

I'd like some opinions on this site.
Here's the deal. You sign up and take advantage of one offer. Then send out your unique referral link. Friends, family, internet. When five people also sign up for an offer, they send you a free Ipod. $300 value. BS or not?
A friend of mine fulfilled all the requirements and has been waiting a month for his, but I read on the net people have recieved them as stated.
I think the big sponsors (i.e. Lending Tree, RealRhapsody) are counting on people not fulfilling the referral requirement. This is how they can afford to do this.
It'll cost a buck if you choose the RealRhapsody trial (which you can cancel).
I'd love one of these babies! Maybe all of us at PTT could refer each other. Ipods for everyone! Worth a shot?
BTW I did a spyware scan after signing up and came up with nada so the site's safe.

Be watching your email after this coming Sun.
Now as far as those go I don't even mess with those types of deals.
You never know when its a deal or a scam. B)

Well, some of those sites are the real deal, most of them are scams. If the site has lots of advertisers and/or is connected with a major rich internet company, then it's possible that they would make so much money, they could give away free iPods.

I got a free ipod from www.mp3players4free.com and it is all legit.

I am actually the owner of a similar site at www.freetronix.com which is different from the other sites because of the variety of free gifts it (I) offer.

There is one word invented by Heinlein that more people should remember:

TANSTAAFL

I just told you that I got a free ipod and I am holding it in my hand right now. I guess it isn't "free" because you have to spend time and effort in getting it, however, I did not pay a penny and now I have a $300 gadget.

Just be careful they could hack your comp.

The big websites obviously dont (freeipods.com included) hack your computer.

I still wouldn't risk it. Seems like far more time and energy than it's worth.
