HOW TO PREVENT IMPOSTERING

Welcome to this guide on how to prevent being impostered, and how to react when you’re impostered.
I’ll try to give as much as possible manners how to prevent, and how to react when it happens.

PART #1 – How To Prevent?
There are many manners to prevent being impostered. I would suggest using them all
-Do only go into ShockWave© server, if you’re on alias
(Note, you can go in Private servers, whit your default name)
-Do not speak to people that are known to be imposters
-Do not say “Oh, no, I’m so scared of being impostered!”
-Try to use symbols in your name. Example: ™ ©, ¤, $, %, § µ, £, @, ē, ~
-Put imposters on /ignore as soon as they join the server
-Do not say “Hehe, I’m one of the best TT’ers”
-Do not accuse someone of impostering, if it’s the truth that that person imposters, he’ll probably imposter you after that.
-Use PTT’s NickName-protection function (only works in PTT-servers, like Laggy CTF. © Blitzer)

PART #2 – How To React?
Do not overreact: do not say “help! I’m impostered” The imposter know you’re an easy prey then.
-Try to take pictures of the imposter, while you are using a alias
-Tell to PTT that you’re impostered
-E-mail (or IM) your best friends of (P)TT the alias you’re going to use, till the imposter is “done” impostering you. Only your best friends!
-Do not show that you feel bad because you’re impostered, the imposters smell blood then.
-Do not say someone is guilty, until you’re sure (maybe an IP-check) that you’re imposter, is that person.
-Stay calm!

PART #3 – Known Imposters
There are some people that are known to imposter. Me, personally do not accuse anybody for impostering, until the IP-check proves it.
--NEED HELP HERE – PLZ ADD KNOWN IMPOSTERS –

PART #4 – Sorts of Imposters
There are some “species” of imposters, you have the…
-Bad-Acting-Name-Imposters | These copy your name, and act very bad whit it
-Good-Acting-Name-Imposters | These copy your name, but act OK whit it
-Bad-Acting-Semi-Name-Imposters | These copy a piece of your name, add a
Bad-word-stuffix to it, and then act bad whit it.
-Fun-Imposters | These imposter for one time, and do it “for fun”
-Job-Imposters | These imposter many times, and do it “like it is their job”
-Hired-Imposters | These imposter someone, because they are hired by someone else
Person A hires Person B > Person B imposters Person C

EXTRA PART #5 – If You Want To Add A Known Imposter
There are a bit of rules, and recruitments to add a known imposter.
-Post IP of the imposter
-Post IP of one of the imposter’s victims
-Post the name of that victim
-Post a picture of the imposter busy impostering

Hate to break it to you but:

-Use PTT’s NickName-protection function

It only is used in PTT servers, like Laggy CTF.

Personally, I think this right here is giving an imposter too much attention. A very simple way to get rid of an imposter is /ignore. You wanna play in SW servers under your real name, then do so, but have the /ignore ready. If some idiot imposters you in a private server, they get banned. Can't get much simpler than that.
