I assume the sound works like skins in that other players will only be able to hear them if they have the files in their TT App. Is it possible somehow to get the sound files loaded along with the mission data when setting up your mod? I'm just learning how the mission files interact... I'm guessing that they're really just pointers setting parameters for object files that the users already have on their TT app.
Can anyone confirm this? If so I guess I can drop the idea of getting sound files to work for everyone when hosting a game.
Yep, sounds are like the graphics files and need to be installed on every players computer. If all the graphics and sounds etc were sent to players on connecting, then the time would have run out before you got into the game!

There is one thing u can do though: you can edit the pitch and other things I cant remember right now of the tank sound that every 1 has on their computers..... Although I cant walk you through on the forums too many ears and prying eyes too many see...... ME GREEDY ;)

Marrick,
Just get yourself a sound editing software to edit the sound files. Most sound editing softwares have tools to increase or decrease decibel levels.

I've made an agreement with Nathan. He's going to host sound mods I make on his site, Pro ThinkTanks. First up is a Worms Sound Mod!!!
Delete the smilies it is VERY IRRITATING how we have to wait for ages for the page to load!!

I've edited some sound files but would like them to play for other players when I'm hosting. It seems that sound files are running not from the host server, but from the users local files. Is there a way to have edited sound play for everyone from your server? It may be too taxing on the bandwidth.. I don't know, but it would be cool to have edited sounds play to more than just the host server. Has anyone tried this?
