Well, to put everyone at ease. I attended a Halloween party with my sister last weekend.

Thanks to the St Paulie girl, you all have already forgotten about me (and I can assure you I feel the same way about her as most of you do. ;) ).

The social observations

It was very interesting when I was buying a few extras for my borrowed outfit at Wal-mart to observe how people responded to me. I got the stares and the less-than-friendly treatment. Even my sister finally broke when I was trying on the "unmentionable" and explained to the clerk it was for the party.

One the way to the party, we had to pick up the pirate's "boyfriend" and we "girls" filed into manland one at the time. They were excited about the first two gals, but when I walked in it got rather quiet. About 5 guys were playing ping pong, watching football and hanging out, with beer and ravioli cans everywhere. I had to issue a "whassup" to calm the alpha down.

Once at the party, it was a lot cooler, at least with the other guests who had bothered to dress up. Interestingly again, I found a new connection with all the women since I understood all the things they have to go through to get ready to go out (cause I went for total submersion) and they were less intimidated by me. And as you might expect, the guys couldn't help but stare and/or grope me topside. The real payoff came when the St. Paulie Girl came in since for that brief moment, she actually believed I was another woman and she was surprised I was taller than she was.

So overall, a good night and a good learning experience. And once again I push the boundaries of my experience and learn a lot about myself and those around me.

A friend of mine once went to work in drag as his Halloween costume, so I've already heard about a lot of the social interactions.

Lost a bet once on my mission trip. Stupid foosball table. All the girls got to makeup my friend and I and had us walk around the whole day helping people. Dman I hate mascara.

@ brainz - Like I said, total immersion, so I shaved, plucked and painted whatever an American woman would do. I sat correctly and slapped hands that grabbed without permission. And yes, I do have a job. That's why I started shaving about a week before to give me time to cut through all the heavy stuff so I could just touch up the day of the party. My sister (leotard girl) and her friend (pirate) helped me alot that day too.

@pgg - And I hate bras, now more than ever!
