Hip Hip hurrah to all of us captains! I thought I would start a fresh thread now that we have been chosen. This will be helpfull, I hope, in the orginization of our teams, and to help promote the bickering that will ensue, j/k!

-z- has forwarded me an e-mail of all players, a selection process, all e-mails, and a form to keep track of teams. Pretty ingeniuos actually. I assume he sent it to me first as I was randomly picked to select first.

Once I make my selection I will forward it on, hopefully by the end of the day. Here is the selection order

2. Bolo - 1 pick

3. Filbert - 1 pick

4. Lancer - 2 picks

5. Filbert - 1 pick

6. Bolo - 1 pick

7. Oddball - 2 picks

8. Bolo - 1 pick

9. Filbert - 1 pick

10 Lancer - 2 picks

11. Filbert - 1 pick

12. Bolo - 1 pick

13. Oddball - 2 picks

14. Bolo - 1 pick

15. Filbert - 1 pick

16. Lancer - 1 pick

I got it from bolo! This is a VERY good idea, actually! I made my pick, and sent it to lancer. However, I think the email for lancer supplied in the email could be missing a letter. I sent it to the posted one anyway. I will resend if I get a delivery failure notice. Are we allowed to publicly say who we chose yet?

Preferably, no.

I dont want people to feel 'ranked' by who chose them and in what round. I will simply list the teams at the end of the process.

Filbert.. You might have made you pick, but from what I see on your email (cc'd to me), Bolo hadnt made his choice yet. You need to keep in order to keep it fair. I had figured it should only be sent to the next person and cc'd to me (instead of forwarding to all captains each round).

However, that part, I suppose is up to you guys to sort out. Perhaps include a number at the top indicating which 'pick' you have got up to so that people can easily see who's turn it is etc...

Sorry about the confusion. I figured that as it was emailed to me, it would be my turn. Maybe we can have Lancer give it to bolo, and go straight from there? I will conceed my pick to bolo, if he wants that player, of course.

I made my pick and forwarded it to everyone....filbert was there anyone u picked that got taken off the list b4 I saw it??? I assume I got the complete list of players (except oddballs pick)....filbert your up!!

I would prefer to be cc'd on each pick if thats ok. This way I can plan my next pick sooner. Everything is ok with Lancer's e-mail address, as well as the list I got from Bolo.

Just a quick note if you could keep this e-mail simple by removing any extranious formating and > stuff.

Makes sense oddball and I have no objections to that :)

I just reallized that the problem was, the first time I reseived the message--when I made a faulty pick--It said on the top "your up filbert." That is what made me think it was my turn. This morning, I have recieved two copies.

Copy from bolo, and a copy from lancer. They both think it is my turn to pick. This would work out fine, and I would just pick from lancers, and write bolos into lancers, except that both bolo and lancer picked the same person. (lancer picked two, this debated player being the same as bolos one pick.) I guess, Lancer will have to give it up to bolo, as bolo would have been first, however, we need to get him onto the forums. I will email him this whole thread emidiately.

I have replied to lancer about that Filbert. Ignore that one from Lancer and redo the one you got from Bolo and forward that.

I actually just finished up a deal with lancer. He is conceding the debated player to bolo, and chose another. THat puts it all back in order. I then took my second pick, and it is now bolos turn again. I have it all written up nice and propper! It's in order again.

No more forwarding to all stuff, k?

May I suggest that the players of "unsure availability" be randomly assign or only selected until the end? I think its only fair that the players that can make the 100% commitment be choosen over those who can't.

I believe you were in actaully.

W.R.T players who cant make 100% - feel free to choose them whenever.. But bear in mind that you need to be able to field a full team each week or you play a man short. There are no 'outside of league' substitutions etc. So those players are a slight risk. 1 per team should be fine.. But you dont want to be picking more than 1 unless the other 4 members are very very close to 100% available.

Yea lets pick the committed players first....save the rest for alternates (make sure somone gets -z- )...

Guys.. I said to feel to use any of the unsures at any time. Some of them may be confirmed 'unsures' but many in the top list are probably 'unconfirmed unsures'

Hey -z-, sonce lauren is quitting, and she was my key player, can I have cat replace her, and use MOE as my extra from the unsures? She was my first pick, and now she is leaving!

Perhaps I could join Lancer's team? Or if he doesnt reply, can I take his place as team captain?

For any team, im only availible 4:00pm-9:00pm on weekdays. Otherwise, im free for any time during the day.

After all, ive been on the waiting list for about 2 weeks now for the next availible tournament. I recall?
