Are you talking about SuperBowl?

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

@Mystery Man

Guess what there are alot of us, (probably the age bracket with the majority of fans )that thought it was the best halftime show ever. You have youre opinion but atleast they had a little bit for all fans all ages. What can I say if it was all rap,
I would have posted what u did.

Ok it might have been a little toned down but I think they really didn't have a choice after the Janet Jackson display..Last year

I thought it was way better than the Britney/Aerosmith fiasco from a couple of years ago. I was excited about Aerosmith, not so much Britney. I preferred this halftime show over years gone by. But the best part was hearing my 3 year old sing along to the "beep beep" part of "baby you can drive my car".

Superbowl half-time shows are always lame. I hate em. All.

I thought Paul was great. I was hoping to a longer set, but it was nice to see a real performer out there and not some flash-in-the-pan type lip synching their latest top 40 one-week wonder. Paul's show was able to pull for a large selection of hits that showed a lot of versatility. I just wish John, Ringo and George had been there. :(

I thought that it was great too - Paul sounded great as did his band.

It would have been wild for Ringo to be there but the drummer was outstanding.

Coolest stage set-up I've seen.

I think he's going to tour again this year.

It's pretty much a given that they're not going to be back to the cheesy skin-fests that MTV had been doing the last few years. That is, after all, all that MTV has to market anymore - soft-core porn and bad angsty "reality" shows. XD

I've got nothing against soft-core porn, but real music ain't all that bad either.

I think it would have been better if Justin Timberlake would have come out and ripped Paul's shirt off. Now that would have been entertaining. %)

^Lol! Budweiser had a commercial they weren't allowed to run that was something along those lines. It's in here.

Paul's repertoire is amazing. He had somewhere near a gazillion hits to choose from. He made some solid picks, but not the ones I would have chosen.

I remember making derogatory comments about the music from the generations before mine, and some of that music turned out to be good, too.

No one artist I can think of has the hits or influence of McCartney. I even include the older ones like Berry, Elvis, et al.

@Rory-

I loved the stage set too. Wish I could have seen it live.

BTW, I'll be 45 this year... %)

I hit the big 5-0 in June - I'm asking the wife for a big party.
