Ok guys, enough creating seperate threads about this...
If you need help, either post here or in the New Modwizard thread.

If you have not noticed... Version 2.2 is old so....
Download version 2.3 and follow the instructions.

And if you have downloaded version 2.3 and it keeps saying it is out of date, you prolly downloaded the modwiz that was up before I made the transfer.
So you downloaded 2.2 over again before my FTP had changed the link.

Re-download, follow instructions... All is good, I have beta testers that say so.

Good thing I am in the middle of updating my webserver... This is (insert colorful word here)
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: more inconvenience for you guys... I need to do a few things to my server, so it will be down for a bit... When it comes back up I will tell ya
Edit2: done, website is back up

Also, it seems my instructions are not very clear... Obviously...
if someone would like to write some up and e-mail them to me, that would be great.

Everything works in mod wiz except 6 and 7, no rocks no tree's any ideas as to why?

Same thing happened to me with keys 6 and 7 Some times when you install modwizard this happens, even on the old version, I uninstalled modwizard and reinstalled it from a new download and it has worked since. I tried to just uninstall and reinstall from the download but it only worked after I downloaded a new one. Remember how I couldn't add arrows to medula Deja? The only way I was able to fix it was to uninstall and delete modwizard and then redownload modwizrd again. Same problem as the 6 and 7 keys.

@War
I still use the version that has the raise and lower function not working, I still have not been redirected to download a new updated version,

Interesting GQ... I tested that before I put up the new version.... Works for me and quite a few others...
I suppose your TT is having trouble with connecting with my domain... And in that case, ModWiz will continue Modding without bugging you...

I dont know, I cannot reproduce the problem on my computer.
If this happens after the next update, e-mail me.

When I created a server with pass, no bots, just me, I pressed 'm' and it said: Client And Server Games Do Not Match
but I still could create stuff! I could create everything but when I press 2 nothing happens. I push E and the key map opens, it sais 2 makes a
fixed arrow, but it wont.

HELP!!!

I have ModWizard 2.3

I went in to mod and it finally took me to the d/l site for the updated version. Now that I think of it I may not have used it since you did the update so it was probably just that, sorry war for the wrong info I gave.

Not a problem GQ...

@ultimªtèкºĞ*VR*
Do you still have the old version of modwiz installed?
That might let you make objects
As far as I know, the 2.3 modwizard works just fine...

If not, try deleting the entire "editor" folder and re-installing MW...
the fixed arrow thing sounds like a shapes.cs file problem to me...
and that has happened in older versions

This is just something you should fix.
I pressed the volcano key (random keys) and of course none was created as Modwiz wasn't activated, BUT I started hearing the shooting sound of the volcano... Just something you might think of fixing ;)
(I had activated Mwiz before, but deactivated it)

UltimªtèкºĞ*VR*

Your non-admin account on your computer is the problem.. Here is why:

In order to determine whether or not the server will let a client use it's mod wizard, it needs to be able to write to a file...
Your non-admin account does not have enough rights to create/edit/delete files where TT is installed...

So either move TT to a place where your non-admin account can create/edit/delete files (example: not in Program Files but directly on the hard drive in it's own little folder), or only use ModWiz as administrator...

@ Warfare:
Suggestion:
What about a password you can set, that you have to type (in a gui, or in chathud) before ModWizard activates. (some kind of adminscript-alike)
This will (I guess, and hope) make it so "hacking mods" is less possible.

Saturday, September 02, 2006 at 10:04:39 PM

I considered that Cas but seeming as since every noob and his dog can share passwords, not follow instructions, etc, I decided against it.
HLP PLZ LOG IN AS ADMIN CANT!!1 threads are stupid enough, I didnt think we need any for modwizard either...

Art Crazy, canned, and I have conspired and we have determined that the newest version is virtually unhackable.
Not by itself and not by older versions.

So guess what?

New version kiddies.
Do download it.
