I agree with you :P
Nicely written putti and you're right about what you're saying, kuten yleinsä. :)
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
A good mod has some good scripting and/or a new game type in it. A good mod might also include stuff from the expansion pack. Most all of us have that so there is no need to wait to download. I agree that non off the mods that I had to download something were my favorites. Demos can download the expansion pack too (I think) so they have plenty of mods to go to. And if they want the game that bad they will buy it.
Yes demos can download the exp pac
heck, I was even modding when I was a demo, I even figured out how to host a server as a demo
they can do pretty much eveything we can do except go into frantic and spooky maps
@ canned
I emailed u some emmitter request (I hope u got it) if or when u do read it plz send.......THX!!!!!! :P :P
Only lethal on days that end with "Y"
The only thing demos have to live with is the getting kicked every 7 minutes
If it were not for modding, most of these people would have left long time ago, and this game would be dead.
Hey napalm!
I know you have mod wizard can you tell me how to install it?
Is this the bottom of how the main.cs file should look like?
// Display an error message for unused arguments
for ($I = 1; $I < $Game::argc; $I++) {
if (!$argUsed[$I])
error("Error: Unkown command line argument: " @ $Game::argv[$I]);
}// ModWizard
exec("game/server/scripts/ModWizardMain.cs");
if (!$Server::Dedicated) {
moveMap.bindCmd(keyboard, "m", "", "exec("game/client/scripts/ModWizardBindings.cs");");
}

From the mod wiz page in utilities
// ModWizard
exec("game/server/scripts/ModWizardMain.cs");
if (!$Server::Dedicated) {
moveMap.bindCmd(keyboard, "m", "", "exec("game/client/scripts/ModWizardBindings.cs");");
}
Looks like the syntax is slightly different in yours

This is just what I think... I read KKB's post too...(here )
1.) What does the word MOD mean for me, is a mission with emitters, nice functions and not so well-placed objects.
there was many of these maps, but they're gone.
2.) now there are two kinds of MODs, first is the mod, just what I said in 1.) and the second is a map. Maps where do you play scrum or bm, nothing special added to it. Very often they dont look as sunny as TT's original maps, there're foggy, dark and wilderness looking maps. This is the thing I hate! But of course there are too some maps I like, but not much.
3.) More about MODs... I think all of my favorite mods had No Download. Like all mods nowadays have got a long download. I decided to try to make mods with no download, and its very easy.
4.) Now I ask you if there are people who are still making MODs, not maps? Who's not using TGE everytime? Why cant make a scrum map with ModWizard and TT's original maps, DEMOs can never play too often in mods. :)
Some people likes maps, others like mods with a lot of new stuff, but who likes classic mods? (no download mods)
Im waiting for comments please. :) This is just what I think..
