:) According to John at Bravetree, your line speed can cause that. I'm on dial up till about 8:00 pm. Shooting is the first thing I'm going to check. I'm familiar with the curves and ballistics problems you describe and it seems how fast info is processed would be a problem.
Shots don't care about computer speed. Its about the connection. Even if you're on an ancient apple II or commodore PC, you'll shoot correctly. If you're online, its the server's fault or your connection speed. You may have a video problem if you're seeing curving shots.
1: Bad video card (Update, buy a new one, or reset)
3: Very very bad PC
2: Your eyes XD XD XD
Video card fix: go out and buy a cheap nVidia or ATi card.
Comp. Fix: faster proccesor
Your eyes: nothing ;)
My video card is a nVidia GeForce FX 5600 XT
My proccesor: dual P3's, 733 MHz each. (yes, this machine was a server at one point intil my dad souped it up.)
If you are blind, like blind cide, then your eyes will have something to do with it X/ 8o 8o
Or your fingers (up and round the corner) XD

I have noticed a very pronounced time lag in the flight and accuracy of my shots. If I have the pedal to the metal and shooting in front and off center, the bullets appear to curve a lot. Is this a game characteristic or can the speed of your processor affect your shooting ? (My CPU is about a third of the present standard.)
